AWS NetApp SaaS Backup Solution

For this project, one will set up a NetApp SaaS backup free trial.

First, set up an Office 365 E3 free trial.

Next set up the NetApp SaaS backup free trial here: https://www.netapp.com/us/products/cloud-storage/saas-backup-office-365.aspx. Click on office 365 free trial.

Enter your information and click submit. Instructions for the free trial will be sent to the email one provided. Click on access trial here in the email.

Click Sign up. Click on Office 365. Enter ones registration information for NetApp SaaS Backup and click Sign Up. Click Next, Select Apps then click next.

Click trial, enter the verification code from the setup email, and click next.

Choose SaaS Backup Provided Storage, Amazon S3, and a region. Click Next.

Click Save.

To Schedule a Backup from the NetApp dashboard, select the service that contains the data to backup. Click view next to unprotected sites, mailboxes, MySites, or groups depending on the service chosen.

Select the item one wants to protect.

Select the dropdown for groups and choose a tier to assign. Click Apply.

This protects data from an unforeseeable loss by a vendor or accidental deletion.
