Create Package from Template

Somehow, i Always assumed ist not possible to create an R package from template. Looking at the second Picture of your README.md it Looks like it might be possible.

Would i just create the necessary files (of a package) by script to have a Project that could be used as a package later on?
(Sry for my bad understanding on the min requirements of a package).

Adding txt file or .gitkeep in each folder for git commits

Hello,

is it possible to add a basic text file or .gitkeep file in each folder allowing git to commit empty folders?

installed packages not found when setting some options in .Rprofile

Double checked which .Rprofile is loading to be sure.
Using the example from documentation:

my_custom_params <- list(
  author = "Victor",
  project = list(
    folders = list(
      default = c("R", "inst", "man", "data-raw", "data", "tests"),
      selected = c("R", "man")
    ),
    packages = list(
      default = rownames(installed.packages()),
      selected = "shiny"
    )
  )
)
options("addinit" = my_custom_params)

an error is shown:

Error in installed.packages() : 
  "installed.packages" not found

need to add create rmd button.

create rmd will get more options than script.
