Literally picked up a computer Dec-2023. And i havent been off of it since. Only had Windows installed on it for maybe the first 2 weeks. Im running Linux now and i didn't know wth that was either. Ha! My first install was a dual boot with Kali.. Yea woops! I've been through around 20 different Distros now. It was one hek of a learning curve but I've lived a couple lifetimes in my 33yrs. Currently operating OpenSUSE TumbleWeed on XFCE. Smooth. Gnome is alright for what it offers. KDE is bettee. Not so good for my CPU though. XFCE is as close as i can come to running something close to KDE with out effecting the ram usage and slowing me down. My favorites OS's that ive had were MX and Fedora. very different from one another but both offering thier own unique set of tools. Fedora is a PowerHorse! And Gnome is really minimal abd runs great on the desktop i have. XFCE for the win though. The transformation i've made since Dec is mindblowing. I've been like a sponge, and im still thirsty for more. Eat, Sleep, Sudo, Repeat. The Backdoor incident was definetly a blow. Even though i was bever effected by it. Me being so new, i'd really hate to see all this go away. The World is Open Source! And its all at you're fingertips my friends. Everyone is welcome here at my Hub. And i hope that it will stay that way for years to come.
