2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Use a variable for the location of the app, since it will only be used once
or twice people don't want to put it in there /Applications folder, and it
seams like a silly requirement.

Solution: (in install.applescript)
set myPath to (get POSIX path of (path to me))

use myPath instead of hard paths from then on.

PS:
Also look at the man pages of unix commands your using eg: mkdir -p and
copy -f, can shorten your code. Contact me if you need any more help with
scripting, i'll be watching your svn. Thanks

Copying libreadline should check for presence of /opt and /opt/local

My system didn't have libreadline in /opt/local/lib, but it does have /opt/,
/opt/local/ and the /
opt/local/lib/ folders already (presumably created through MacPorts).

The install.applescript seems to assume that if the libreadline.5.2.dylib file
is missing, the whole /
opt/local/lib structure needs to be created as well - if those folders are
already there though, the
script fails with an AppleScript Error:

mkdir: /opt: File exists (1)

Maill App doesn't work properly after iJailbreak installs AppPack

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Jailbreak Using this method - Install AppPack and all
2. On the iPod - Set up a mail account
3. Try to check the mail.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It should check the mail, however instead it asks to go to the settings to
enter a password.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iPod Touch - 1.1.3 Jailbroken.

Please provide any additional information below.
A possible fix would be to make the AppPack installation optional, if the
user paid for the applications on iTunes then perhaps there would be no
bugs if they put the normal versions on to the iPod.
