Vote Smart Arlington is providing transparency into the voting history of elected arlington town meeting members.

Hi, I'm Dylan! 👋

My name is Dylan Phelan (he/him) and I'm a 🧑‍💻 senior web developer at Boston Children's @smart-on-fhir team with +6 years of experience in full-stack development on 🏥 Health IT projects. I'm passionate about problems in public sector and healthcare domains, using my skills in 🕸web-development, 📈data visualization, and 👨‍🎨UI/UX design to build web tools that enable healthcare standards developement. In May 2021, I received my CS Master's from Tufts University, where my study focused on 🤖 AI/ML and ⚖️ AI Ethics for public sector and healthcare applications.

Select components on Data Viewer should have styles aligned with rest of the app.

Sharp corners, italics placeholders, arl-gold as accent color; clear background is fine to stay.

Rename representative -> townMeetingMember

name up for debate- townMember? meetingMember? townMeetingMember? member? idk???

Run fresh deployment of most recent updates.

User's should be able to easily see individuals who are up for re-election

Checkbox or toggle on the filters section to see only individuals up for re-elected

What this actually means is that there was a blank in the voting history file created by Arlington. We should make this a bit more clear.

Mobile: Table filter section feels too large on mobile?

Just a thought, when selecting a precinct on the data page, it is not obvious that the rest of the page overall scrolls so it feels a bit cramped given the large "Filter Voting Data" section at the top of the page

Update Heroku and set up SSL

No-sleep would be nice here; Dylan might have credits we can use.

Some basic activity stats for the activity of the application

Even if it was a simple log of IP's to a table with frequency and/or time of visits, that could be nice.

Test the Share button on production

Ensure that we have appropriately set up the secrets here.

Move voting data page to new page

Should have duplicated dropdown on this page so you don't need to go back to homepage

Ensure that non-ASCII characters in representative names are handled appropriately

We should be sure that the voting data got cleaned/converted properly. We should all pick a fe random votes/town meeting members from the spreadsheets and make sure that the entries are correct in the data from the API.

Scroll on the table on mobile. The header disappears but the meeting member names cut off at a weird point
