eternal-keypad's Issues

Blank plates

I designed the device with the pattern that I selected and I wish to keep that as the default, so I will not include blank plates in the releases for the time being.

Since it's an easy change, you can remove the pattern by yourself or request the blank plates here instead.

Tricky soldering with new Kailh MX Sockets

The new Kailh MX sockets have this reinforced back solder pad, when you try to solder it in, because of the required angle to reach the socket's pad, you may end up accidentally hitting a diode's joint if they're already soldered in.

For new builds this can be avoided by soldering sockets first before diodes, however, if you end up needing to fix a socket's pad with a diode already present next to it you may encounter this issue.

Moving the diode on the Y axis may also help this issue.

[Switch Plate] Cannot manufacture due to "small bridges"

Hi Sir , Please kindly note that the space between with these slots need 4mm at least as below arrow ,which will break off easily in the production , so that we will cancel it and then you will modify it and then to replace the correct one ,thanks

No Left handed LAYOUT in QMK

I was trying to make a custom keymap for the Lefty config on the eternal keypad. The basic lefty firmware will not work for my needs. Anywhere I can get a lefty LAYOUT? Keymap.c for lefty is still in the default config and QMK Configurator and VIA are as well. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. Sadly, everything is soldered already so to flip it would be a massive pain.
