Simple facebook like iframe rewriter to switch like buttons on pages to your very own implementation.
Since like buttons are popping up in a lot of places and while I’m not an avid facebook user I still like the idea of liking stuff and pushing it into my network, that’s why I hacked down this little node.js proxy. What it does is basically just rewriting the new facebook iframe plugins to whatever I like, I took delicious as an example but anything would work, there are some limitations though (everything still has to go through the proxy and other stuff).
-
original proxycode is copied from github.com/mikeal/node.proxy.js and adapted for my needs.
-
button layout is adapted from designlovr.com/beautiful-photoshop-like-buttons-with-css3/

you need node.js on your machine, download the node-like.js script and start it with: node node-like.js
-
now setup your browser or system to use this proxy-server: 127.0.0.1 port: 8000
-
browse! and see the like buttons magically switched with your own ones (try ajaxian.com for an nice example)
Do whatever you want.
