Missing vending machines

Hi, there are two types of snack vending machines in the game, "prop_vend_snak_01" and "prop_vend_snak_01_tu", the worldVendingMachines dump only contains the first one but not the later one. Most of the places Rockstar have used the later one in the world, I think they changed them somewhere around the CEO DLC, the newer one has only one rows of the items so it has less polys I think...

For example go to the beach near Vespucci at position (-1228.4570f, -1453.4240f, 4.2916f) and you'll find a snack vending machnie that's missing from the dump.

Could you please add "prop_vend_snak_01_tu" to the dump and update the repository?

Add PlayerWeapon Dump

A dump of available player weapons would be nice. It should at least contain following information:

  • name
  • hash
  • class

Additional information would be nice

[QUESTION] Parking Nodes?

I don't know what they are called but you can see NPCs parking in parking lots perfectly in the squares.

Do you reckon what these are called? Parking nodes? Parking Positions maybe? Anyways, I was wandering if there is a collection of these positions around.

request: pedOverlayCollections should include TxdName/Hash

Getting the TXD from the OverlayName isn't always intuitive (i.e MP_LUXE_SN_007_M has the TXD MP_SN_005), this would make working with this data set easier. There's also TxtName, which I think is the actual texture name within the TXD, though I can't find a case where its different from TxdName.

Nodes have gaps

Hey,

at the very first: thanks for this awesome repository! πŸ™
It helps so much to create tools around GTA/FiveM/...

If I draw all the connected nodes from nodes.json on a map there are a ton of gaps - which makes real navigation impossible as nearly all roads have a gap somewhere in the middle.
Is there any reason behind it? Or does GTA solve that on runtime by finding the closest node if it reaches one of these dead ends and "jumps" to this one? πŸ€”
So for sure I can go through the nodes and add all the missing pieces or find an algorithm to add connections between these dead-ends. Just wanted to check if there's an "official" way or if the dump misses some connections between single nodes.

Missing Music Events in chinese2.c (Crystal Maze)

I noticed that most music events from chinese2.c are missing in the music event data dump. This script in particular appears to be using an extra function called func_15 to play music events rather than directly calling AUDIO::TRIGGER_MUSIC_EVENT. For example: func_15("CHN2_STOP_TRACK", 0, func_173()); There may be other scripts that do this, but this is the only one I have found so far.

Ped Component Variations dump drawable ids wrong

Creating the complete ped component variations dump includes calculating drawable ids. These drawable ids are currently not correctly calculated.

This needs some more research, I havent got time yet to dive deep into this. This issue is open for any tip & discussion.

Street Names

Hello,

Love the extensive collection of data. Have you ever considered exporting all of the street names with their bounds? Something like the zones file, except with all street names (eg Grove St).

Thank you for considering it

Ambient zone names dump

[QA] RestrictionTag

How to find out its own RestrictionTag from a specific pedComponent NameHash?

Cutscenes names

Needed for natives like REQUEST_CUTSCENE, HAS_THIS_CUTSCENE_LOADED, REQUEST_CUTSCENE_WITH_PLAYBACK_LIST, REQUEST_CUT_FILE, HAS_CUT_FILE_LOADED, REMOVE_CUT_FILE, _GET_CUT_FILE_NUM_SECTIONS

Inconsisten hexhashes

The ped.json doesn't have a 0x at the beginning of the HexHash value and vehicle.json on the other sides includes it. Best would be if 0x is always included.

Scenario Groups

For use with scenario group natives like doesScenarioGroupExist

Vehicle class error

Hi, it seems like the "Class" field in vehicles.json is different for the COMPACT class

COMPACTS is also used in the plural form where it should be COMPACT
(Class id could also be useful, they go from 0 to 22 and are used in some natives)

This is a very minor error, just letting you know
Thank for all the work you do πŸ‘

Dump traffic lights

The following object hashes are traffic lights and need to be dumped:

  • prop_traffic_01a | 0x3E2B73A4
  • prop_traffic_01b | 0x336E5E2A
  • prop_traffic_01d | 0xD8EBA922
  • prop_traffic_02a | 0xD4729F50
  • prop_traffic_02b | 0x272244B2
  • prop_traffic_03a | 0x33986EAE
  • prop_traffic_03b | 0x2323CDC5

Thanks in advance.

Ped Head Overlays

Makeup, facepaints, blemishes, lipsticks, beards etc. with their respective localized names and color index values.

This data would be very valuable to anyone developing a character creator.

[Question/Suggestion] Street names

Hi, thanks for all the work you do here :)

I would like to suggest dumping street names and/or street bounds
I'm not sure i what format they are stored in GTA, maybe it could be something similar to the zone dumps

I'm currently using your zone dump to know what zone a player is server-side, and I would like this to be possible for the street names.

Thanks πŸ‘

request: Street lamp positions

i would be happy to have all street lights on the map as object locations

preferred format:

[
  {
    "Name": "name",
    "Hash": 123456,
    "Position": {
      "X": 123.123,
      "Y": -123.123,
      "Z": 123.123
    },
    ...
]

Thanks in advance

Non-json accepted symbols

In the vehicles.json there are a few \t's that don't belong there, In the weapons.json and peds.json there were also some escape symbols that don't belong there
