Installation

1. Use Windows Operating System

   NOTE: for MacOS, try to figure out how to run development mode by forking this repository & follow this official guide: React Native for MacOS

2. Download Visual Studio Installer here: VS Installer

3. Install necessary files from Visual Studio Installer:

   • .NET Runtime 6.0 (LTS)
   • .NET Runtime 8.0 (LTS)
   • .NET SDK
   • C# and Visual Basic Roslyn compilers
   • C++ 2022 Redistributable Update
   • C++ Build Insights
   • C++ CMake tools for windows
   • Universal Windows Platform support for v143 build tools
   • MSBuild
   • MSVC v143 - VS 2022 C++ ARM Build Tools (Latest)
   • MSVC v143 - VS 2022 C++ ARM64/ARM64EC Build Tools (Latest)
   • MSVC v143 - VS 2022 C++ x64/x86 Build Tools (Latest)
   • C++ ATL for latest v143 build tools (x86 & x64)
   • Entitiy Framework 6 Tools
   • Typescript Server

4. Install Corepack: Corepack

5. Install yarn 4.2.2 using Corepack:

   $ corepack install [email protected]

6. Install Project:

   $ yarn

7. Run project in development mode:

   $ yarn dev
