Vim-baan

Baan development plugin for Vim. It is activated with the files having the extension .bc or .cln.

Installation

Vim-baan requires at least Vim 8.0. (Neovim is not tested, yet).

Vim-baan follows the standard runtime path structure.

To install with Vim 8 packages;

git clone https://github.com/earik87/vim-baan ~/.vim/pack/plugins/start/vim-baan

Quick marking

Shortcuts for quick marking;

• Start new (".sn") - F1
• End new (".en") - F2
• New (".n") - F3
• Old (".o") - F4
• Start old (".so") - F5
• End old (".eo") - F6
• Mark as new - mn (works with multiple lines selected)
• Mark as old - mo (works with multiple lines selected)
• Comment Line - F11
• Uncomment Lines - F12
• Change marker - cm
• Comment block - cb

vim-baan's Issues

Map `cb` into add comment block.

cb command should create a comment block as following;

|********************
|* Comment
|*******************

It should be possible to mark multiple lines.

Quick Marker should be extended / improved.

Several things should be done to improve quick marker.

• Start with F1 for marker mapping.
• Make F11 comment line, Make F12 uncomment line.
• Add a mapping sth like; cm to change marker.
• Add those mappings into a menu in GVIM.
• #7
• Instead of using prompt for solution marker message, put it in status bar.

Old marker should comment the line.

Function viewer should be implemented.

Function viewer opens the source file of the functions. This would be a very useful feature.

Extended baan dictionary file

Autocompletion is provided by baan dictionary file. However, this file does not cover every keyword used in baan4gl language. This should be extended for a better autocompletion experience.

Add a feature to jump into function definition

Jumping into function definition from a function within script should be possible like in LN studio.

When vimrc is opened from an existing script, "E121: undefined variable: b:project" error shows up

While having baan script open, if vimrc is open in the new buffer, the following error shows up.
