Using EasyIndexedDB for a new article

Hi @ebryn,

I'm getting ready to write 2nd article for Ember Sherpa in the series on CRUD without Ember Data. For the 1st article, I created a simple localStorage wrapper. For the 2nd article, I would like to replace localStorage with IndexedDB and use Promises. Kaster Tideman suggested that I look at EasyIndexedDB. It looks like perfect fit.

I also saw that there is PR with documentation by @monocle. It was created a month ago. Is there any reason other than lack of time that's preventing you from merging that PR?

Also, you mentioned compatibility with other browsers via IndexedDBShim. Is it just a matter of including IndexedDBShim in global scope? or are there any other considerations?

Getting answers to these questions will help me in moving forward with the article.

IndexedDBShim and Safari

Currently there are multiple failing tests when using IndexedDBShim and Safari. However, basic functionality seems to work. (See demo app at http://monocle.github.io/ember-app-kit-todos/)

How to use EIDB API while keeping it testable in Ember.js apps?

This is probably a noob question, but I'm not sure what I need to do to make my code testable. I can run the app, but when I run tests, it Ember complains about failed assertion.

I looked at @monocle's EIDB Record Adapter but he doesn't have any tests in his repo.

I know its related to Ember.run I'm just not sure how to think about it in the context of EIDB.
