Demo Questions for the R Autograder for PrairieLearn

R Demos

This repository is derived from the pl-template repo, and still contains its Gallery of (Python-based) questions. But it also adds a number of reference questions for the R Autograder used by STAT 430 'DSPM' (2018-2020) and now by STAT 447 as well as other courses.

The main reason for this repository is to highlight the mechanics of the autograder and it simple test scripts to assess questions. It aims to demonstrate a few key features---but it not meant to be a library of exam questions (which we would not want to be in a globally readable repository anyway as our students are a little too inquisitive for that...)

The remainder of the PL docs follow. We will adjust this as needed going forward.

Welcome to PrairieLearn!

PL docs needed

https://prairielearn.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ has sections ofr Python autograder, C/C++ autograder, Java autograder. We should make something similar for the R autograder

(I know that's not necessarily in this repo, but I'm thinking about how to merge this content into the PL core exampleCourse and docs.)

Can we move the entrypoint script into the image?

I notice these questions source the entrypoint script from inside the course space

"entrypoint": "/grade/serverFilesCourse/r_autograder/run.sh",

Is that static enough that we could safely move a copy into the autograder image? One less thing for adopters to need to have locally, and seems to be what the other graders do.
