This repository is intended to provide a library for working with QR codes from c++. The main purpose is to exploit modern CMake and facilitate reuse and develop.

The GUI part will be based on Qt libraries and QML. Examples of this library compiled for Web Assembly can be found on:

Adding the libraries to your CMake project

qrcode's Issues

firefox android does not decode

In chrome android it works but for firefox in a cellphone does not decode qrcodes

Add Required components for finding OpenCV

Add required components to find package

This will install the corresponding libraries when deploying.

Remove the force linking

Remove the force linking namespace this is fixed by using the IMPORTS variable of qt6_add_qml_module

document.createElement('div'); every call to open webcam

QtQrDec for wasm creates a div element every time the camera is opened.

VideoSink frame to image do not work on android

In Android, the camera preview is not shown, shows a black screen, and the qr can not be decoded.

It seems that https://github.com/EddyTheCo/qrCode/blob/b35dda56ebd07d5f58be7552f6814965fffc091a/QtQrDec/Qrimagedecoder.cpp#L124C29-L124C60

Returns a black image this does not happen for Linux. Still need to test it on Windows and Macos

Seed point is outside of image in function 'cv::floodFill' exception

The QtQrDec(QRCODE decoding) module fails randomly throwing the exception Seed point is outside of image in function 'cv::floodFill'.

add explicit exports symbols for dlls

build docs at tags on main

The docs are built when merged pr to main, but the document shows the cmake package version that comes from the GitHub tag. so the documentation refers to the previous version of the package.
One could build the docs also when new tag on main, so the documentation shows the correct version.

Qt multimedia backends are not deployed

does not decode qrcodes on dark background

It seems the decoder of opencv does not decode on a dark background with a bright QRCODE.
We need to try other decoders or open an issue on opencv.

make use of optional components
