Map incorrectly re-writing

The rocket map is re-writing incorrectly upon any game update, meaning the background grid lines are disappearing.

Adding sound to the game

There should be a selection of sounds throughout the game, such as new message sounds, errors, launches etc. These can be played using JS

Adding notification bar

There should be some sort of notification bar at the top of the screen (fixed) that displays resources, and a message icon alerting the user to when a new message is received.
