Branch count should be a parameter
Also: currently we assume the master branch is in the top N, but it's not guaranteed.
Should we instead get data from all branches, and filter later?
Parsing of branches with symbolic refs fails
e.g. from A -> B we only want A
Writing to files should be incremental
To avoid recalculating all data points at every call, the program should by default append graph data to existing files. This requires loading the JSON array from a file, appending to that, and rewriting the file.
