Cannot replace wallet.dat file from Qt to new Electra Desktop

Every time I go in and replace the wallet.dat with the wallet.dat which has my ECA tokens in it from my old QT wallet the new desktop wallet does not update. And then when I try and reboot it refuses to use the key phrase and insists on starting over with a new Mnenemic phrase like I never even downloaded the wallet and updated to the network for 2 hours. What is happening? Why can't I put my ECA tokens on this wallet? Why doesn't the wallet keep the same key phrase in its memory? What does replacing the wallet.dat have to do with the key phrase? They should have nothing to do with each other. Wallet.dat is simply my coins.

I have NEVER had this issue with any other wallet. You back up the wallet.dat file. You go and and delete the new one and replace with the one from your old wallet containing your coins. WHAT IS THE ISSUE please help? Otherwise I will just have to go back to the old QT wallet. This wallet is a mess. Why are there 2 different files under Appdata\roaming? One for Electra Desktop and one for Electra?

Please show me how to simply delete the wallet.dat and replace with my old wallet.dat in Electra without having to start all over with the key phrases every time. And how to get my coins to show up in there. And yes the wallet is current and closed when I am doing this. There is no wallet.dat in the Electra desktop file. No matter how many times it is downloaded.

Electra Wallet fails to start daemon after install v1.0.8 window 8.1

I just downloaded and installed the windows electra wallet version 1.0.8 from the electra project site. Directly following the install the following error is shown while attempting to start the daemon:

recovering mnemonic did not work on fixed v1.1.0

tried 1.0.6 but winow does not open and tried 1.1.0, but did not end the recovering of mnemonic.. i waited 48h...

Overview UI

Overview should contain the account information rather than the recent transactions. QR code on overview for easy access, as well as QR code on each account detailed view (could be a small icon that enlarges when clicked).

Receiving A Stake Causes Wallet To Look Like Coins Are Missing

We've received numerous complaints/suggestions about this. When the new wallet receives a stake it makes it look like there is ECA missing. In a future update, would it be possible to have a pop-up note or something more detailed to let the user know what's going on?

Add a tooltip on the overview three main cards

Add tooltip showing the amount of ECA, BTC and USD or other currency with as much decimals possible.
Some people would like to see their amount to the nearest decimal.

Can't copy the mnemonic when creating a new Wallet.

Please provide a way to copy the mnemonic.
This is just a test wallet =P

Recovering Mnemonic (and possibly Generating Mnemonic) Hangs

Hard issue to replicate but we're getting reports of the new wallet hanging on Mnemonic Recovery (and possibly with Generating Mnemonic).

The solution we have tried is to completely remove the app by uninstalling it in the Add/Remove settings on Windows, deleting the electra folders, rebooting the system, and then reinstalling the desktop app.

Unfortunately, this fixes it for some but not in all cases. Not sure what the cause is.

Error opening Electra Desktop (release 1.0.0) on Ubuntu 16.04

After close the error alert, it shows "Starting daemon" forever.

Blank (white) wallet on Ubuntu 18.04

The wallet shows a window which is completely white. I can't move the window, however I can open / close it to / from the systray. I'm also able to resize the white wallet window. Running the command "electra-desktop" from a terminal gives the following output:

would love to bring the -data-dir feature back from the old Qt app into 1.1.2

I keep all my block chains on external drives for various reasons - namely storage space. This is now the only coin which I cannot do this on.

Can you please bring back a feature or setting for this? Preferably something where I can use:

Sending Amounts From Legacy to New Wallet Addresses Causes A Failed To Send

This occurs when

user has not moved any ECA prior to trying to move the coins
user has included the transaction fee
user has not received a stake in the last 24hrs
coins have been sitting in legacy for longer than 24hrs

users are reporting that sending smaller amounts works but I haven't found any consistent pattern

Remove the Auto-transfer when moving funds from Legacy account

This was a feature added when the fork was originally planned but is no longer necessary and it's not stated to the user that this will happen.

So I suggest either removing this feature entirely

Add a nice big pop-up message warning the user that this auto-transfer will take place and they need to OK it before the wallet initiates the transfer

Payments page- Copy address button.

I tested this on both Ubuntu and Win7. It was a problem on both.

On copy address button, first copy copies [purse] into the clipboard field as well, after switching between accounts and copying the other address, it only would copy address, as intended. Upon application reboot, this problem continues to happen on first copy

Desktop Wallet Syncing issues

Several users have been reporting issues with updating their Desktop wallets.

They have been attempting to sync up using version 1.0.8

One user confirmed they were using windows 10 and another user was on windows 8.1.

They left the wallets open to allow synchronization, and even after the recommended 24 hours. The wallet would not sync for either user.

Had the users test the QT wallet which started the syncing processes immediately.

It appears with some users the desktop wallet is having issues synchronizing with the nodes.

Only visible in tray / Auto-minimize and hide (Win7)

Taskbar icon disappears (auto-minimizes and hides) when switching to desktop. Taskbar does not indicate an open wallet if the wallet has been locked in taskbar and program has auto-hidden itself. So clicking on icon from taskbar, which should reopen your already running wallet, will open second instance of the wallet.

Lost ECA when transfering

I am missing over 8 million ECA after transfering from legacy to savings and checking accounts. All transactions are now 10/10 confirmations.

On minimize the electra desktop application on windows goes to the tray

Mnemonic Recovery and missing funds

1. Entered mnemonic phrase to recover funds and it has taken well over 3 hours to load now.
   EDIT: 4 hours

2. QT wallet is no longer reading backup .dat file. Shows "Zero" balance (wallet.dat was replaced with backup)

CPU Usage

The wallet is using 3% of my i7-7800x which is a 4.4GHz overclocked Hexa-core CPU, 2% of my GTX 1070 and 300MB ram, how and why?

Payments page drop down triangles (All platforms)

Payments page- drop down triangles don’t actually drop down menu, however the rest of the field does and drop down triangle on receive field is partially covering address (may not be all that important)

Can't send from legacy to checking W10

We delete Electra desktop folder, restart wallet, same issue
after, uninstall properly the wallet, fresh install, wait for full synch.
Try to send all (-fees), still the same.
