Moderation / abuse

Hi,

I believe this bot is being used as an abuse vector.

An example message:

(However, there are many more, especially recently).

The issues right now are:

• There is no documentation on moderation / handling abuse of this service.
• WormNET moderators don't know the source of the messages (i.e. which Discord server it is coming from).
• WormNET moderators can't block individual users, or block messages coming from certain Discord servers; the only option at our disposal is to block the entire bot.
• Moderation policies may vary across Discord servers. Ideally WormNET moderation would be consistently enforced (never mind that we are very far from that ideal currently...).
• We cannot introduce additional technical barriers (such as CAPTCHAs or IP checks) to prevent abuse.

Some ideas for improvements:

• Provide a moderation mechanism for WormNET moderators, which allows banning a Discord user temporarily or permanently from using the bot.
• Provide a mechanism for WormNET moderators to identify the source of messages coming through the bridge. Possibly moderators of other Discord instances may appreciate this as well.
• Require that only users who have verified their Discord account using some non-trivial method (e.g. adding their phone number) can use the bot.
• Maintain documentation of these mechanisms somewhere.
