Limit spread of golden leaves.

On my server someone placed 2 of the brilliant fibers. They chopped one tree down, but forgot and left the other.Logged in this morning and I have half a dozen chunks of golden leafed trees. Perhaps a way to limit max spread area or amount? I think it ended up yielding about 4000 gold leaves.

Few suggestions

Maybe have a form of craft tweaker integration where when a certain action is performed, it causes an increase or decrease in aura.

Like performing a blood magic ritual would decrease aura. Or crafting industrial machines causes a decrease in aura near the crafting.

Being able to set the overall aura of a biome would also be awesome. I.e. let a modpack maker set the aura to super low in a BoP wasteland biome, or super high in a magical biome.

Unable to create Disruption Catalyst

This might just be my stupidity, but the recipe for the Disruption Catalyst calls for a dark oak sapling to be grown in the center of the Ritual of the Forest - dark oak doesn't grow in a 1x1, has to be 2x2, but there's no space in the center of the ritual due to the gold powder. I tried growing it anyway using bonemeal, but no luck. I also tried a normal oak sapling and that didn't work either.

shadows

In the current version of Magiculture 2 (0.5.0.6) the staff of shadows works a few times then stops working.

When I get a new staff in creative mode- that staff works and the staff that stopped working begins working again. They both have the same grey overlay timer showing the staff is cooling down.

Edit: And I can then delete the new staff that I got from creative mode and the original staff continues working (for a while- I haven't seen a pattern in why it stops working.

I'm not sure if it has limited charges.

Crafttweaking + Book recipes

Changing rituals or Altar recipes breaks the book by throwing an error in the opening GUI saying "error loading [insert ritual]" for example, changing the Ancient sapling recipe. or changing the Sugar cane to sugar recipe.

When trying to access certain entries or multiblocks crashes to main menu throwing a patchouli error.

Can't craft anceint tree saplings using the latest version of natures aura ~ The ritual just dosn't work.

The entire structure is complete (all the blocks and items are accounted for)

I tried growing the tree using bonemeal, and another time just by waiting. It dosn't work.

Other rituals (Token of joy is what I tested) seem to work fine

Altar Item Input

While testing, I realized how finicky the Altar is.
Iron can be right clicked right in.
Rotten Flesh cannot.
Any blocks are placed for a split second and then placed into the altar. (Like if you open a buggy chest from a mod with a placeable block in hand, the block is placed for a second before disappearing and you open the GUI.)
Only when using item transportation of sorts, it just works.

Dedicated(?) Server Crash related to "nearby animals mate" effect

currently i'm trying to reproduce this in singleplayer, but i'm having trouble?
the logs suggest it's related to the animals mating in areas of excess aura, but in singleplayer it didn't cause a crash.
however, as far as i know, to reproduce on a server, all you need to do is have a pen of animals, and get your aura high enough for them to start mating each other.

please let me know if there are any more details i can supply.
i'll let you know if i find out anything else.

[Question] Unlocking through advancements

I'm currently creating a modpack which uses Triumph for custom advancements. It removes all the others. I could add your mod to a whitelist, but I'd like to implement my own advancements. The problem is: The chapters in your book are locked without the completition of the advancements
Would it be possible to add a config setting to unlock the book without completing advancements?

Tree Ritual doesn't work with ancient saplings

I'd like to use an ancient sapling for a tree ritual recipe. This doesn't work because ancient saplings don't extend BlockSapling, which causes the wood stands think that the multiblock isn't complete.

Whenever I enter a new world, the advancement "Luscious Surroundings" (Create enough aura to cause positive imbalance effects) unlocks immediately.

[Craftweaker Compat] Error Parsing recipe

I might be dumb, but following:

mods.naturesaura.Altar.addRecipe(String name, IIngredient input, IItemStack output, IIngredient catalyst, int aura, int time)

So, I added the String name (Taken from the JSON files), Added the imput (astralsorcery:blockmarble), Output (naturesaura:infused_stone) and not wanting to have a catalyst, I ended up with:

Progress reset on loading existing save

Setup: Nature's Aura in a modpack, launched via twitch app

Result: upon loading the world, all progress is reset, although the required advancements (which are required for the progress, according to book) are still unlocked

How to reproduce: Unknown, problem doesn't seem to appear anywhere else

CraftTweaker Integration Issue/Patchouli

When changing a nonritual items recipe the book CT can't read the format required for Patchouli.

"naturesaura:gold_fiber" is causing an issue with crafttweaker

[Suggestion] Allow aura meter to be re-positioned

Currently, there is no way to reposition the aura meter (atleast i couldnt find one). It would be nice if you could allow the player to reposition it. Something like an anchor point (i.e. TOPLEFT, BOTTOM, RIGHTCENTER, etc) + x/y offset, configurable via the mod config would be good.

Powder of Chastity doesn't inhibit animal breeding

Used a stack of the powder, boosted the aura, chickens and cows nearby (5 blocks from effect powder) were breeding like crazy still. The book reads that the powder inhibits the breeding effect.

[Feature Request] Remove blocks from oregen

For some reason, Nature's Aura misidentifies blocks as ores:

  • Galacticraft's Tin Decoration Block
  • Quark's Black Quartz Pillar

Additionally, it uses ores from multiple mods for the same ore, most notably:

  • Thermal Foundation Copper+Tin Ore
  • Railcraft Copper+Tin Ore

It is possible to ADD ores in the naturesaura.cfg file, but there is no option to remove blocks currently in the list. Please add this feature as this is unwanted behavior in modpacks.

Unlimited Aura?

I recently crafted a botanists pickaxe, and upon reading that it could add moss to blocks, I made a Swamp Homi. Using my pickaxe and a block of cobblestone, I then fueled the Swamp Homi for increasing Aura, as measured by my Environmental Eye. I just need to repair the pickaxe with an Aura Cache, which consumes less Aura than the whole scheme produces. Note: I also have an ancient tree, which can pick up the slack if I am infusing iron, refueling the cache, or taking time to repair my pickaxe.
Anyway, this is a little OP, because it seems very easy to automate, although I have not yet done so.
Is this meant to happen?

[Bug] Crumbling and Transmutation Catalysts won't work properly

It is unable to place any items on Natural Altar except blocks like sand (for making soulsand via Transmutation) or glowstone (for making glowstone dust via Crumbling). Iron ingot for basic Infusing to Infused Iron can be placed without any problems.

herbivoruous Absorber (buff)

Hey can you make it so the herbivoruous absorber takes Flowers 2 Down and 2 up so you can hide them

Btw great mod to use With forestry bees to take the Flowers and that is way i want this buff

Ancient Sapling Crashes world

Used creative mode to spawn in an ancient sapling, attempted to quickly grow it using bone meal - world immediately crashes and has to be shut down, reload and it brings world back up prior to ancient sapling being placed.

This was in a skyblock world made via void islands control

Made a 2nd world for testing on Superflat and spawned ancient sapling -> bone meal -> pretty tree.

Made a 3rd world in voidislands as a skyblock world for testing, spawned ancient tree and bonemealed it -> waiting for server -> we can't have nice things because it just got frozen on waiting for server

Last troubleshooting attempt I had made was making a 4th world and starting it as creative as opposed to Open to Lan -> Cheats Enabled and making sure the log was enabled to see if anything showed up in the fatal/error tab, nothing had loaded for several minutes prior to the crash before I had to task manager out. I gave it up to 10 minutes to load with no success.

Log has nothing, only crashes on void world spawned by voidislandcontrol, works on different worlds and can't figure out why.

[Feature Request] Dynamic Trees Compatibility

Dynamic trees leaves are correctly recognized by the leaf decay algorithm, but unfortunately, they regrow after they decay, so it has no real effect. My suggestion is to replace the leaves with decayed leaves that do not decay, so eventually the trees look mottled and gross. The only other option would be killing the tree, which might be possible using the dynamic trees api. Obviously this isn’t high priority since the actual feature works correctly, and just doesn’t accomplish its goal due to the way dynamic trees works

Additional Flowers

I havent made the leap to 1.13+ conventions of "properties" yet so Im unsure how exactly the config reads blocks with metadata. It probably has to do with "variants" but im stuck in the old ways.

So which one of these work?

Though, I'd say with one of these it seems like air blocks seem to be sucked by the Herbavoral whatever machine.

[Feature Request] Non-Overworld Dimensions

It doesn't seem like the mod does much in the non-overworld dimensions. There's aura, and it can be drained or bottled, but it doesn't seem like it can be replenished. Ancient Trees can be grown and the absorber will eat flowers, but neither will replenish the aura at all.

So, would it be possible to let many of the mod's features work in other dimensions? Or, if it's not intended to work in non-overworld dimensions, would it be possible to add a config to 'allow' modded dimensions to be treated as an overworld?

Oak Leafs

Infested leafs are always oak leafs. If I put the item in spruce leafs, it turns into oak leafs. (yeah golden oak leafs, but oak)

[Suggestion] Add in your own Nature's Aura bottle instead of using Minecraft's

While I'm a fan of using and integrating vanilla mechanics into a mod, too often do mods overlap with the same or similar mechanics, the bottle is one of those mechanics.

You might be familiar with Botania ender air and how to obtain it and how that has caused alot of frustration to players. If sneak right clicking in the end (was changed to that from earlier releases), a player obtains ender air; however, if a player is trying to gather dragon's breath, often times, they will also gather ender air, which results in clogging up their inventory.

So why not simply use sneak clicking to get aura? Again, it's the above scenario. There are other mods out there trying to do the same with bottles, which results in clogged inventories, wasted bottles, and frustrated players.

What I'm suggesting is to simply add in another bottle or item to capture aura, a tool that, when right clicked, will capture aura and fill any empty bottles in a player's inventory, or possibly some machine that can be filled with bottles and will produce aura filled bottles {although a solution, adds in just that much of an extra step of placing and breaking a machine when done).

I hope you'll consider this and implement something that will bypass this whole issue.

By the way, great start to the mod. Really reminds me of the very early days of Botania development.

Ritual of the forest (ancient tree sapling) isn't working

I have no idea what I am doing wrong.
I have build the ritual place using the books guide (it registered as finished), placed all items (sapling, poppy, dandelion, gold leaf and seeds), but when the sapling in the middle grows I get normal regular tree.

Tried it multiple times, it just doesn't work and there is no indication on what is missing.

No ritual is working

I dont know why but the rituals are just not working for me.
This should be the simplest ritual and i cant seem to get it to work.
