Upgrade Failure Recovery

Provide a recovery if the startup fails that rolls back to the backed up version

Add support for RequireJS

Checkboxes on Update/Install Datagrids

Add checkboxes to the update and install datagrids for adding multiple plugins to update at a time.

Archive Based Install/Upgrade

Allow for an archive file to uploaded and used as the source for the install/upgrade.

Persist Installed Version File on Update

Persist the installed config/version.json.cfm file so that installers will not try to create DB changes that don't need to be done.

Cache Plugin Source Retrieval

Cache the requests made to retrieve plugin information from external sources.

Check Prerequisites Before Update

Check the prerequisites before updating the plugins.

Plugin version information sources (in order):

• Downloaded archives (pending installation)
• Installed plugins (enabled, installed)
• File System (not enabled, installed)
• Update Sites (not set for installation)

Listing of Installed Plugins

Show a listing of the installed plugins with a link to update specific plugins.

Automatic Prerequisite Installation

When upgrading to a version of a plugin that requires a new version of another plugin automatically attempt to upgrade the other plugin first.

Should show a message to the user confirming that the prerequisites are out of date and will need to be updated in the process.

Fail update if any of the other upgrades fail.

Ability to Change the Plugin Configuration In The Browser

Allow for editing the settings.json.cfm file for a plugin through the admin interface.

Multiple Archive Upload At Once

Allow for uploading multiple archive files at one time.

Update URL Based Install

Ability to install a plugin by providing the url used to upgrade components.

Plugin Installer/Updater

Allow for installing a plugin through the admin interface when not in production mode.

This process should:

• Download and unarchive the release zip file to a temporary directory
• Backup the existing release
• Replace with archive files
• Clear trusted template cache
