Alternative text for plural

Hey there,

Can we have a different text when it's plural ?

I've attempted to use the Bootstrap shortcodes plugin that you recommend but I find that some of the functionality isn't working - tabbing and message boxes, for instance. In the case of the latter, the dismissal button doesn't work. I found that by re-activating the Bootstrap includes for that plugin caused it to start working again. I also tried some other Bootstrap plugins and found the same thing - when I allowed the plugin to use the Bootstrap code included with this theme, then some of the functions didn't work.

I tried deactivating all other plugins to ensure nothing else was causing a clash but I experienced the same issues.

Is there a solution to this?

Problem with translation

I dont know is this is a bug or no. is there anyway to change this "Continuar leyendo →" word into " Continue Reading"?, My wordpress uses English (US) language.

Issue with the hamburger menu

There is a problem while you're on smartphone, if you click on it, there is a hover/active state on it but it stays in this state for long.

Could you fix this issue ?

Search box in mobile menu causes a misplace

1px moved to top, causing blur effect with menu box.

May be solved using margin-bottom -1 or changing border by shadow.

Adding Custom CSS

Hello,

You touched this topic last year in issue #25, but I wanted to elaborate a bit on it.
When -in the WP admin panel- you go to Themes > "Customize", at the bottom there is a tab "Additional CSS". [Added in December 2016 in WP4.7 -- so after the previous issue]
This adds a custom css entry at the very last step of the "head" tag [search for wp-custom-css & you'll see it].

For example I wanted to add these entries:

.article-wrapper .article p,
.article-wrapper .article ol {
    margin: 1em 0;
};

(they are 2em by default).

I think this is because of Bootstrap loading the css after the custom-css is applied, but I don't know enough about it to make even an educated guess.

It would however be very nice that we can use some kind of "additional css" feature in this theme.

Language is set to English but comments still displays as comentarios. Is there a quick and easy way to fix this? I can inject some JS but that seems like overkill

Question about the Read More button

Hi, I'm trying to create a single page blog entry with the theme, and I wasn't sure how to modify it to get it to how I want it to look.

I want a single page blog entry per page, with comments on the bottom and no Read More flag.

I read up on this page that teaches you how to customize the read more button, but I just want everything to show up on a single page.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

In the english version "buscar" is used instead of "search" in the hamburger menu on mobile.

Pingback not working

Hey there,

When I link to someone else blog or someone else link to my blog (article), I / he don't receive any pingback or trackback (we already tried to add it in the article and in the trackback form).

I should be my plugins or firewall but before disabling all, are you sure you support these feature? Because some themes are know to not supporting this.

Could you add a transition code ?

Hey there,

Your theme is based on Material Design but animation are ... not animated. When my cursor reach a button, link or whatever with an "hover" state, the color will change instantly.

You should consider to add this code: "transition: [color (button) / border-bottom (link)] 250ms ease-in-out;" without the brackets and on the normal state (if you apply it on the hover state, it will not works when you go FROM the hover state TO the normal state).

Allow right sidebar (widgets) on Pages

New setting: hide sidebar for article

Hey there,

In "Material for Coders" theme, we can show or hide sidebar but that's all, you can't define a paramater like: "hide for article, show for whatever else".

I would like to make my article without disturbance. So I would like to hide sidebar when the page is an article.

In other way, the "menu-2" which is under the blog name disappear on article, I would like it to stays.

Easy way to modify CSS

Does the theme support a custom CSS file? Only modifying the rather large and minimised theme CSS files would be tricky.

In particular, I'm wishing to change the link colours as they don't show.

About Author Box
