afcclient's Issues

Using Symlink Function

Is creating symlinks no longer possible/supported?

I'm not able to create any symlinks at all, error is always:

Error: link /path/folder/ -> /path/folder2/ - OP_NOT_SUPPORTED

make not working

Hi,

I run macports, so I had to install libimobiledevice to /opt/local/ to avoid conflicts. Nothing should be installed to /usr/local/bin.

I have MP set to use clang 4 (mp-clang-4.0) and set the CC environmental variable to clang-mp-4.0, which is located in opt/local/bin (I'm aware of the syntax mismatch). CFLAGS is set to '-O2 -arch x86_64 -arch ppc64 -arch i386 -arch ppc'.

I am pretty sure this version of clang supports blocks.

When I try to compile afcclient, as root, I get the following:

sh-3.2# pwd
/users/<login_account>/afcclient-master
sh-3.2# make
clang -c -o afcclient.o afcclient.c
In file included from afcclient.c:30:
./libidev.h:17:10: fatal error: 'libimobiledevice/libimobiledevice.h' file not found
#include <libimobiledevice/libimobiledevice.h>

	`^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`

1 error generated.
make: *** [afcclient.o] Error 1

sh-3.2# ls -fs /opt/local/include/libimobiledevice reveals that the header file libimobiledevice.h is installed as expected.

Where did I go wrong?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Best,

Transfer failed: MUX_ERROR

Using afcclient to upload large files to the Documents folder of an app results in a failed transfer and 'MUX_ERROR', when doing this over Wi-Fi. Using USB, everything works.

I don't really know what the problem is. Is it the iDevice going to (deep) sleep ? Is it a network connection loss that it can't recover from/ doesn't retry sending the packet.. ?

Do you think there could be some keepalive or error-retry function added ?

Unable to access app-store submitted app documents

Using:
afcclient -u [UDID] -a [BundleID] list

Only works for non-app-store submitted apps.

Error:

Error: house_arrest service responded: InstallationLookupFailed

Tested on iPad 4th Gen, ipad mini 4th Gen. MacOS Sierra and El Capitan
