Please add LiveDisplay and app-fullscreen display feature

This is the most less bug-free rom i've ever flashed,kudos to your awesome work! The only features missing from other roms i wanted most are those features mentioned in the title:

1.LiveDisplay
2.App-fullscreen display

Also minimum brightness is too high for my eyes,can you adjust it to a lower value?

A8 2018 A530F have issue with NFC that based on Android 11

hii, I want to ask, my NFC is enable in setting, but it doesn't working normally. All of android 11 GSI, I already try, and have same issue. Any idea ? Btw, I try to compile NFC apk, but I think they same *cmiiw

`Invalid sparse file format at header magic` Error

When I try to flash the lir-v302-210318-arm-avZ.img Image to the system partition, I get the error mentioned in the title.
When the flashing is complete, the device goes into a boot loop.
Is it a problem with my device or is it a problem in the way the Image file was built?

Note, flashing LOS 17.1 didn't have this problem.

Request: Include Bromite Webview

Thank you for creating these images. Since you included the signature patch in CAOS (Update (2020.02.27) - built with signature spoofing patch), it is now my daily driver.

Can I request that you replace the built-in webview with Bromite (https://github.com/bromite/bromite) for those of us with privacy concerns that do not want anything Google on our devices?

Just replace /system/product/app/webview/webview.apk with the appropriate xxx_SystemWebView.apk from the Bromite repository. The end user should notice no difference at all.

This was a vendor.img problem. Reverted to final Essential vendor release (feb 2020), and now all is well.

CAOS - No MTP (File Transfer)

Hi.

I am new to this kind of things (installing custom ROMs), but I really need to ask you about this issue, and since I couldn't find a "send message" option here, I will send this message in this way (please forgive me if this is not the place to do so).
The problem is this one and I really, really need an answer from you, I beg you!

After I downloaded and installed many custom ROMs, I found it yours and test it, and I think that yours is the cleanest android 10 ROM among them all (just 10 preinstalled necessary stock applications, no other "garbage" apps, and I congratulate you for that - I am so sick of tens Google and Samsung bootloader and stock garbage applications, which can get rid off them).

After I installed your latest "caos-v215-arm64ab-200414-vanilla" ROM on my "Samsung A40 (SM-A405FN)" phone, no matter what setting I apply in normal or Developer Options modes, I just can't make my phone to be visible on my laptop. All the USB ports are fine, my USB cable is good, the Samsung and ADB drivers are installed properly, everything is just fine on my side. In your ROM the "File Transfer" is set as preferred options (I tried the other ones as well, of course). I enabled or disabled the "USB Debugging" in "Developer options", and I even tried in unrooted and rooted mode too. Nothing is happening on my laptop screen: no internal memory and/or external SD card is visible on my desktop!
If I install other official ROMs or custom ones, I don't have this issue and my phone become visible on my desktop as soon I connect it with the same USB cable.

What am I missing here, please?
Is it a bug in your ROM or there is some "workaround" (a patch file or something) to be applied for the "File Transfer" (MTP) to be 100% functional, and my phone to be visible on my desktop, as it should normally be?

Please (I beg you) what is your advice regarding this issue?
Can you provide me a small "step by step" guide to fix that?
I really, really need it!

I thank you for your great work, with this the cleanest android ROM I've seen and tested so far!

P.S.: Do you know other bugs that my occur using this ROM further, please?

Fingerprint not working after reboot

Fingerprint works in the first boot but it doesn't in farther boots. Please tell me how to collect the debug log so that I can share it here.

Treble app still unloading within an hour. Toggling Airplane mode brings it back. Moto E6 T-Mobile

On the 3/25 Rom, unloading of treble app occurs within an hour on Moto E6 on T-Mobile network. A quick Airplane Mode toggle is needed to fully load and activate it after reboot, and toggling it after it unloads, loads it right back. Hope this helps.

Request: Add Crdroid settings / mods

Crdroid is inferior to this rom in terms of performance, however it has some nice features:

Status Bar & Quick Settings
Customize what icons you see as well as effects and number of QS rows and columns

Navigation and buttons
Choose from gesture nav or old school nav buttons as well as customize what your hardware buttons do

I especially love the "Hold Back to Screen off" and "Hold Recents to Torch" newly added in MIUI 12.5.4. Crdroid also has these features...

So I want to request, can you add the above Crdroid settings / mods to CAOS11?

Samsung Galaxy A22 (SM-A225M) - Some issues

Hello everyone,

I'm using crDRom11 with a Samsung Galaxy A22 (SM-A225M 4G version), and I'm experiencing the following issues:

The proximity/light sensor doesn't work, for example when listening an audio on Telegram
~~The jack audio port doesn't seem to be working either.~~
Someone from the Telegram group suggested me to set "Use alternate way to detect headset" plus "Disable audio effects" Phh settings -> Misc -> and then reboot. Now the jack port works correctly.

How can debug/troubleshoot any of this?

You think another ROM may be better for this phone?

Screen rotation is not working properly

Hi, there is the problem with my tablet: screen rotation is not working properly, this is how it behaves:

Portrait = landscape
Landscape reverse = portrait
Landscape = portrait reverse
Portrait reverse = landscape reverse

This only happens on Android 11 GSIs, no problem with Android 10 GSIs for example.

Everything except rotation seems to be working fine. How I can fix this?

CAOS earphone doesn't work

My phone is Meizu 16T,just found earphone doesn't work.

First of all, thanks for your excellent work, but I ran into a problem. After I answer the call, the ringtone of the call is still ringing. The volume of the ringtone became smaller, but it did not disappear. I use Honor v20 with latest BLESS rom.

PIP mode and multitasking

hello, the picture and picture mod and the multitasking mode doesn't work with all of the roms.

LiR: 3-Finger-Gesture is the only way to screenshot?

Hi, is it the desired behavior that in LiR, there is no button to screenshot?

I have no button in any of the menus and no setting or option to find for enabling one, so that the 3 Finger Gesture is the only way to take a screenshot. That works fine, though, no problem with the screenshot function itself.

I mean, I can live with that, I'm just not sure if that is a bug, a feature, or just me doing something wrong.

I'm running lir-v310-210727-a64-bgZ on a Cubot King Kong Mini 2 - and that missing button is literally the only inconvenience, it's working amazing otherwise!

critical memory card problem

Sometimes, when you insert a memory card, it reports a problem (the memory card itself works fine) and offers to solve the problem. But when I click to solve the problem, all the data is erased from the memory card.

I have Honor 6X (Hi6250) and found out that the camera not matter what app I use is not working despite being worked in another GSI. Any flashable zip to fix it?

Not sure if this is the correct repo to submit this request, but as a privacy-oriented user, I'd submit for consideration to enrich the GSIs with 2 privacy centric ones - CalyxOS & GrapheneOS.

CAOS11 - Quick Charging not aviable

I have flashed CAOS 11(caos-v310-210721-arm64-bgZ.img) on my phone: Blackview BV9600E and works fully fine.

Only a little detail: Quick charge doesnt work.

USB and wireless charging are working OK, but I think that Quick charging is not aviable on this firmware.
It doesnt work on my smartphone Blackview BV9600E (Helio P70).
I use a wall charger that runs OK (also quick charging) using original firmware. Is 3.6-8v at 3Amp and 12v at 2.0 Amp.

May it has been patched on next firmware revision ???
