.htaccess file using apache

Hi guys,

I'm trying to run your software using apache web server...
Please could you share with me / community the correct content of .htaccess file?

At the moment, for example, a call to http://my-evote-site/login returns "Not Found".
I am so confused with .htaccess right syntax!

Am using Apache2 as the web server.
Can you please publish a document to install evote application?

Doesn't work in non-root folders

The system fails when not installed in the $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] folder.

Reproduce the problem:

1. Create a PHP-server
2. Create a subfolder
3. Install the system in the subfolder
4. Get the error failed to open stream: No such file or directory

Codes not being accepted

Hi, I have evote set up in a test environment and it seems to have a problem accepting the codes that were issued for a vote.
I have not been able to get a successful vote submitted after several attempts.
The error says - "Your vote was not registered. This can depend on you entering one of the codes wrong, or because you already have voted"
Can anyone advise where I should look for a solution to this?
I have looked in the apache and mysql logs, but nothing jumps out as being wrong there.
