JSON host is down

A couple of guides for setting up the 8266 references the page http://arduino.esp8266.com/package_esp8266com_index.json, which is inaccessible.

MacOS BigSur Error

I have 2 Mac book and have same issue I tried to uploads sketch and it show

pyserial or esptool directories not found next to this upload.py tool.
An error occurred while uploading the sketch

I tried to reinstall esp8266 and issue found again please help.

stddef. missing

Hi!

I have found an issue from 2.5.0 to 2.5.1 that during compiling this error message comes from the Arduino IDE
stddef.hu no such file or directory.
Is there anyone who encountered this message? Is there solution?

problem adding to ide arduino

Hello, sorry for my poor english.
I added
https://github.com/esp8266/esp8266.github.io/blob/master/stable/package_esp8266com_index.json
but nothing new in ide.
I download
https://github.com/esp8266/Arduino/releases/download/2.6.3/esp8266-2.6.3.zip
and can't add it by zip libraries.
Can you hep me or modify was wfrong in your file ?

AT commands of ESP8266

Hi all,
I am working on ESP8266 with arduino UNO. I have flashed new firmware into the ESP8266 module, after that when I opened the serial console of arduino only two AT commands are working which are AT and AT+GMR. When other AT commands are given, it shows an error. Can anyone helps me to solve this.

Hello, what are the requirements to add a new ESP board in the json file: http://arduino.esp8266.com/stable/package_esp8266com_index.json, so that it appears in the arduino IDE card manager?
example:
"boards": [ { "name": "My ESP8266 Module" },]

Corrupt file

Hi,

Travis CI corrupted the json file by adding:

Dropping version 1.6.5-947-g39819f0
Dropping version 2.5.0-beta1
Dropping version 2.5.0-beta2
Dropping version 2.5.0-beta3
Dropping version 2.4.0-rc1
Dropping version 2.4.0-rc2

I also cannot contact him.
