Ability to filter a for loop

problem with %%

template string:

%% py tmp = 1
%% print tmp

error:

File "<string>", line 1, in <module>
NameError: name 'tmp' is not defined

{%%} blocks leave empty lines in generated output

I've noticed that {% ... %} blocks always leave a blank line in the rendered template. This makes the rendered templates consume unnecessary space and also makes it difficult to read.

syntax error thrown on mac os x 10.6

I'm having problems getting moody-templates running. When I install or try to import it throws the following errors:

Error on install:

one line comment

Please add support for ## as a one line comments. eg:

%% if true
<div>...

pypi package moody causes import clashes

So using package name moody-templates and import moody... There is an obvious fix. Or negotiate for the new project to use a different name.

Add in a comment tag

Useful for commenting out large chunks of template code.

The default loader is a silly idea. Remove.

Better autoescape function that also takes care of quote marks
