FakeSpeed

Google Chrome extension to modify elements on the PageSpeed Insights website (https://pagespeed.web.dev) to reflect a "fake" pass status.

NOTICE: This extension is intended for entertainment purposes only. It is not suitable for use in real-world scenarios. The creator does not assume responsibility for any misuse of this extension.

Installation

  1. Clone or download this repository.
  2. Open Google Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions.
  3. Enable Developer mode in the top right corner.
  4. Click on Load unpacked and select the folder containing this extension.

Usage

  1. Open Google Chrome and navigate to the PageSpeed Insights page you wish to modify.
  2. After the analysis is complete, locate and click on the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar.

Usage without installation

  1. Copy the contents of the script.js file.
  2. Open Google Chrome and navigate to the PageSpeed Insights page you wish to modify.
  3. Press F12, then go to the Console tab.
  4. Paste the copied contents and press Enter.
