Geonames Search Issue

I can't seem to make the GeoNames search function work. Could you please explain what the API key should look like? I've got a GeoNames username, but it doesn't seem to work as the key.

Publishing records -- Solr commit fail

Hi Ethan,
When we try to publish records from the editing interface, we get an error message: Solr commit failed. We are running Solr 4.10.4. Unsure what the issue is, Jen and I are looking at the Tomcat logs where we are seeing:

SolrCore Initialization Failures
Cannot create directory
SolrResourceLoader
Can't find (or read) directory to add to classloader

Also, when we try to publish individual records, the check box under "Publish" remains unchanged. Are these related issues?

Descriptive Note field fails to appear for CPF Relation (FF 19.0 / Mac 10.6.8)

When I click the + sign the dialogue disappears but I don’t see any note field appear. If I click the + again, Descriptive Note is no longer available. A blank descriptiveNote with p element shows in code.

Toggle names on front end not working

We updated our test version of xEAC, and the toggle for the names doesn't work in Safari. Works in Chrome, though.

I am sorry. I have a problem to connect to localhost:8080/orbeon/xeac/admin/ for a first run. I have this message in the browser : "Obreon Forms Page not Found. We are sorry but the resource you have requested is not available on this server".
I follow all the instal instructions. The Java server on Ubuntu 13.10 is open and tomcat7 is running. I can access to localhost:8080/orbeon but not to localhost:8080/orbeon/xeac/admin/.
Please help me to finalise the installation of the web application XEAC. I need it for my archival studies.

Importing EAC-CPF

I tried uploading an EAC XML file from RAMP http://demo.rampeditor.info/ into eXistdb. xEAC Admin shows it in the list, but does't seem to like it: "Unable to load EAC record".
Is it possible importing external EAC files? I think it would be useful.

Editing content in header and footer

Hi Ethan,
Is there an easy way to add content into the header and footer?
I am in templates.xsl and cannot find the file referenced in:

<xsl:template name="footer">
        <xsl:copy-of select="//config/footer/*"/>
</xsl:template>

Also, I would like to add a logo graphic to the header, instead of displaying text (which I was able to edit in xEAC settings). Thanks for your help!

xEAC not found after deployment stage 3

At the end of step 3 in the deployment guide (https://github.com/ewg118/xEAC/wiki) it says that the home page and admin page will be available, but I get a message saying "Orbeon Forms - Page Not Found" instead. I removed the xeac part of the link and it showed Orbeon forms, so I believe that stages 1 and 2 were successfully installed. I'm not sure what went wrong and I did step three twice just in case I made a typo but it still won't do anything for me.

Does the symlink in step 4 need to have a name different from xeac? I didn't see any place to tell it that the symlink I created was the one to use.

Configuration Error on first run after installation

Hi,
I installed xeac on my Xampp localhost, and with the first run I got an error message.
Here is the first screenshot of the first run:

Did I do something wrong in the installation process?
I've tried several times to reinstall, and still the same.

Would very appreciate any help :)
