Hi, thanks for the report.
I'm aware of this issue.

As stated in README, building is currently limited to Gradle 4.10 (which is limited to JDK 11) due to an issue in used plugin gradle-nbm-plugin 1.17.0.

I was hoping that plugin will be updated, but maybe it's abandoned. Either I will have to fix it myself or use other method for building...

If you are looking for build, development build available on project website should work on NetBeans 12.

Included build of more recent version of the plugin. Hopefully it works now.
