"Please authenticate"

No matter what I do, I cannot get the VSCode extension to work:

It's installed in VSCode (Version: 1.71.2 (Universal)

ExplainDev version 0.0.9:

I tested on my work laptop and had a proxy issue (blocked). OK. Also tested on my private laptop with no restrictions. Same issue.

Email and auth code provided by ExplainDev are entered in settings.

I even tested connectivity with the following curl call, provided by the dev team, and it works on the personal laptop:
curl -X GET https://api.explain.dev/ping

I discussed this at length with explaindev support, but just to have a summary, I thought I'd add this here.

Background highlight for line-based explanations

Hiyo, me again

I noticed that the browser extension displays an "Explain" button on the far right in a code block on pages such as Gitlab (in this example). It's hard to tell which line is meant by the "Explain" button because it's too far off to the right with respect to the code (all the way to the left) it's trying to explain. Here's a GIF to demonstrate:

An easy fix for this would be to give the full DIV you're using to place the "Explain" button (for the current line of code) some
color background to select the entire line.

No response to first query after exiting and re-entering VS Code

Settings: Spanish and Advanced.
"Es algo raro pero siempre que salgo de VS Code y entro nuevamente para hacer una explicación no me da la explicación pero luego de salir de el archivo de explicación y poner lo que quiero explicar nuevamente funciona."
"Solamente queda sin nada la explicación pero ya si lo hago otra vez funciona bien"
