softwarekg-pmc-analysis's Issues

Following up!

Heyo! So I've been brainstorming a good way to use this information, and I think the rough idea I'm laying out is that I want to have a research software registry - not just to keep records and metadata about an ecosystem, but akin to https://nixery.dev/ be able to request a custom container on the fly (with some number of projects from the registry ready to go) on demand. That's the key for why people will want to put their software there, and the credit / citation bit is mostly a bonus. So I'm putting together a rough draft of what a research software registry would like https://rse-ops.github.io/proposals/proposals/drafts/research-software-registry/ and it could be close to that or deviate quite a bit as I think it through, but where I've placed this work in this map is as a sort of analyzer that can populate entries with some kind of point for a "real world citation." I'll keep this data in mind as I develop it - likely just brainstorming and learning now and will kick off development in a few months when the full vision is clear.

How to set up endpoint in order to run the analyses ipynb

Hello,

I have downloaded the json-ld files and launched a virtuoso server in a docker container but I do not know how to load the data or adjust the sparql endpoint. Can you provide more details? I have no background with these systems and cannot find much beginner-friendly documentation online.

So far I have unzipped the json-ld files into a folder 'software-mentions', and I can open the Virtuoso page at http://localhost:8890/sparql/
using the docker image from openlink/virtuoso-opensource-7:latest

Thank you,
John
