pifmrds's Issues

Stopping breaks WiFI ?

When I do CTRL + C to stop over WiFi SSH the SSH freezes (but the Pi is still running). Doing it over Ethernet doesn't have any problems

Can't make PiFmRds on Kali Linux on a Raspberry Pi 1B

PTT / Transmit Squelch function

Hello !

Great work with LibRpiTx.... NBFM working really well with DEVIATION set to 2.5 !

I am testing an application which use LibRpiTx to transmit samples, and was hoping to have control over the transmit. Either as a PTT flag (through control pipe?) or as a Transmit Squelch capability, where the TX (carrier) will be on only when the audio level rises above a set level.

What would be the best approach to go about it ?

Cheers

PI4

Will This Work With The Pi4?

Can it transmit on 434Mhz?

Heya! I'm not able to transmit at 434Mhz because the max is 108. The GPIO can handle frequencies from 5 KHz up to 1500 MHz

Close on transmit completion

Hi,
Is there any way to make the program stop after it has completed transmitting the audio file, or at least reload the file each time it reaches the end of the audio file so that if an updated file is provided, it plays that one instead?

Harmonics Noise

So, the harmonics noise was a pretty obvious problem in other versions of PiFmRds. In that case, though, I see that the signal (yellow if I'm not mistaken) is pure enough. Is a filter still necessary?

P.S. : Very nice work, I hear no difference between a real radio station and the pi.
