  • With Shift/Ctrl/P choose CMAKE: Configure to start a CMake build setup If you dont have an initial CMakeLists.txt file it will build one based on your inputs with some simple code.
  • Shift/Ctrl/P CMAKE: Clean to clean the project
  • To add a git submodule: git submodule add https://github.com/glfw/glfw.git external/glfw
  • To add it back after you clone a project that includes a submodule run this: git submodule init git submodule update
