inline-gdocs-viewer's Issues

Update all DataTables dependencies to its latest versions

I'm having a lot of trouble with the responsiveness of the generated tables as setup by Inline Gdocs Viewer. A quick look in the source code revealed that the DataTables plugin files haven't been updated in nearly 3 years! Please see for yourself

Please update all files, so that the dataTables plugin will behave better.

Stylesheet formatting being ignored

For some reason the odd rows will always show the pale blue look, no matter what I have tried. The following 2 lines below were added to both attempted in the theme template and within style tage in the page itself just before the gdocs call. I am at a loss for trying to figure out how to get this blue hint removed.

.members tr.odd {background-color:#eee}

Hyperlinks Not Displaying

Hyperlinks I have set up in my Google Docs spreadsheet are not displaying. Can you create a patch to include this feature?

Formatting two or more columns together?

Hello! I was very excited to discover this plugin and can't wait to see what my org does with it. An example of the type of thing I'm hoping to do is turn long, difficult to maintain lists like this list of city projects and this (inaccessible!) one for meeting minutes into nice tables.

So far I've got a table, but can't figure out how to format columns quite the way I want. I'd like to be able to take a few columns-- say date, label, and link-- and make them into one column that is something like <a href="the link">{date} {label}</a>.

It seemed like the query API could work but even the most basic query I tried returned an error.

What's the best way to go about this? Do you have any examples for a query?

Feature Request-Hide source Code

In the source you can see the table id for the google doc key.

Any ideas that you know of to possibly hide this data?

I'm offering a page for paid members  of my site, and don't want them to have easy access to my doc.

Any help that you can think of would be great.

WordPress throws error when trying a page with a gdoc query shortcode

Hi,

first of all, I'll quickly state my specs. My site is running on:

  • PHP 7.2.29 (Apache)
  • WordPress 5.3.2
  • the following plugins: Contact Form 7, Events Made Easy, NextGEN gallery, ShortPixel image optimizer, W3 Total Cache, WP-Optimize and Yoast SEO.. and Inline Google Spreadsheet viewer of course. Version 0.13.1

I am an administrator of the website and I've enabled the possibility to SQL query in the settings. However, when I want to insert the [gdoc] shortcode in a normal page, things go awry.

  • All goes well when only using [gdoc] shortcode itself
  • The moment I want to query with either [gdoc key="wordpress"] or [gdoc key="mysql"] and I want to save the page, a red alert appears, saying: 'The response is not a valid JSON response'.

Checking the POST call WordPress makes when clicking the save button and it returns the following error:
<h1>Error thrown</h1><p>Call to a member function has_cap() on boolean</p>

How to turn off headers

I am able to select the data, but it shows more than I needed, how can I turn off the displaying of headers such as "[Column] [visibility] [Copy] [CSV] [Excel] [PDF] [Print] [Show] 102550100 entries Search:, etc and only show my cell?

Thanks,
K

Hypertext showing as URL

Hi,

I've seen this requested by a user on your blog, but not sure if it was actually actioned as a formal request here.

Inline gdocs viewer has been a god-send for my cricket blog, am looking to integrate the spreadsheets I have with Wordpress. The site is under construction, but the page I'm working on at the moment is here:

http://calypsocollapso.info/?page_id=262

The spreadsheet this is based on, and which is pulled in with your plugin is:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AvjqINNotWwUdFhCTFhWaWpkSDVmUDJFTlVSUWF0YXc&hl=en

My request is for the Hyperlinks in Column A (the Names) to be clickable on the webpage.

Thank you, Stuart Wales
