Unable to sync with Wii U

By using an HTTP proxy, the app can't communicate with a Wii U running the "Wii U USB Helper Transfer Tool" homebrew.

There is an error when using the option "Send to Wii U" and it doesn't sync your installed games by giving this error: "Sync Failed (Is Mocha Running?)". I tried with normal Haxchi and with Mocha and both give the same error.

Is this something by-passable by this launcher? I really liked these features!

503 Server unavailable error

I am getting a 503 Server unavailable error when Wii U USB Helper is loading. If I choose continue, the app still loads, but is unusable. It appears to be missing content, and there is a modal splash screen or something blocking half of the app.

USBHelperLaucher keeps getting deleted

For some reason, USBHelperLaucher deleted itself, so I decided to try and put back the exe in, but now for some reason I have no permission to, and it won't tell me why. Do you know what's the issue?

3ds games downloads are blocked

3ds games downloads are blocked it says nintendo has additional protection over these files cannot download please fix it.

Game Info in wrong language

I'm in Germany but I want stuff in English. The UI is showing some content (specifically game info texts) in German. My Windows 10 setup is all English so I'm not sure where this is coming from.

According to Fiddler, request to yandex.com are getting the "Accept-Language" header of "de-DE".

USBHelperLauncher crashes at launch (before GUI)

On my machine it crashes before showing any UI, it opens a terminal and then closes.
I tried running the launcher with --verbose and/or --nopatch but with no "verbose" log file is generated. It does generate configuration files like conf.json tho. I've tested the program on other machines and it works fine, even if using the same copied-pasted folder. The error showed in Windows' event viewer is:

I really don't know where I could find additional logs/info, so this is all I got for now.

OS: Windows 10 Pro Version 10.0.18362 Build 18362, I also tried to run the program from different locations and privileges to verify that permissions issues weren't the cause

404 Error while Wii/Gamecube Iso Download

Great work, that USBHelper is still useable :-)
But I found a little problem.
I choosed a GameCube Game, but after first step (select ISO file) I got a 404-error.

How are title.tik and title.cert handled?

I've developing my client for android and using JNUSlib, but I've faced with issue when title.tik and title.cert aren't downloaded from the server and that returns 404 for this files. I've checked your code, but I don't understand where you redirect requests from original helper, please, could you share knowledge?

Usb helper keeps sending me to youtube

Not sure why but everytime i try to load it it says something silly like usb helper has been drinking all night and is a bit tipsy, then sends me to youtube if i continue. Any fixes out there?

Despite new games being added to that title keys site... the program wont show them up, this is probably due a data base size limit being reached... please take a look into it! :)

Injector Tool

When using the Helper's injector tool which allows games not on the eShop (e.g. Mario Kart Wii) to be started from the Wii U home menu, after providing an ISO for the game, it results in an error and the injection is stopped.

Copy files dialog does not stay open

On attempting to copy files over to the SD Card, the dialog box that pops up suggesting to select the game, updates, DLC, etc. for copying crashes before allowing interaction. prior to this issue, just installed the 1.17d update and deleted the CoreFiddler4.dll file as instructed. Intend to reinstall Helper from scratch, but if this issue persists for others it may be worth noting.

I followed the instructions from the reddit post

I used the recommended Wii U USB Helper version 0.6.1.616 and version 0.10 of the launcher.
Extracted the helper and then the launcher in a folder.
Downloaded the MakeHostjson.exe to the same folder and ran it.
It created a hosts.json file with the following content:

I had previously adjusted my hosts file using the fix_titlekeys.bat file found in the discord after i learned that the dns records broke of the title keys site

error with version 0.13 that forces windows to restart

whenever i launch it with version 0.13 i get some errors about the 3ds titlekeys website not working and then windows says it has an error and restarts. it also caused chrome to reset itself back to default. i reverted back to 0.12b and it works fine

How to use proxy

Does the Fiddler has a External Proxy Setting?
So I could use some proxy tools(shadowsocks) to download? just like network->shadowsocks->Fiddler->helper

Features yet to implement

  • Retrieve Citra packages from official repository instead of relying on the GitHub release API
  • Fix desktop shortcut error (missing meta.txt)
  • Instead of having encrypted data files, keep them decrypted and encrypt them on startup
  • Figure out which titles are missing from the data files
  • Scrap Wii U USB Helper's CDN for descriptions of custom titles
  • Reply to donation key validation requests
  • Attach Wii U USB Helper config to debug message (remember to strip donation key!)
  • Find a way to enable donation features without a valid donation key (dummy miner, perhaps)
  • Move releases to GitHub repo
  • Update checker using GitHub release API
  • Improve 'Clear Install' option, it's unreliable
  • Add missing emulators to emulator downloader (Project64*, DesMuME, etc..)

* Project64 doesn't distribute releases without installer, use innounp

Other ideas (very low priority)

  • Add option to disable annoying pop-ups (e.g. 552 update warning, already a hidden option in Wii U USB Helper's config)
  • Cloud-save functionality (allow pointing to third party server?)
  • Data file editor GUI

Unable to download files.

Everything works correctly as far as I can tell. I used the 11c release on the 0.6.1.616 version of wiiu usb helper. It loads into wiiu usb helper with no errors. Whenever I try to download a game, I add it to the download area and hit the "Start Downloading" button. Then, without actually downloading anything, it sends the notification that it has finished downloading.

wiiusb helper deletes record of games

the program keeps deleting the record of what games i have and even though i can open the game within the emulator it disappears from wii usb helper and my desktop links also dissapear. strangest thing. i cant think of what is causing it and i dont know how to trick the program into thinking i have installed it again.. can i just point it to the folder somehow? i dont want to re download the games every time it happens lol

donation key not approved

i used the launcher to generate a donation key buy all i get is donation key not approved when i click i have donation key.

All of a sudden Wii U USB Helper can't get any titlekeys anymore

I've been using your Launcher Workaround for about a month, I was even using earlier last night. Now when I got try to use it, whenever I put in the Title Key site it gives me this message.
There was an error while trying to fetch the titlekeys from wiiu.titlekeys.gq (the site is probably down). No backup was found. Unfortunately the app cannot work without it.

Will you add Yuzu support?

Or is this outsee because this has to modify codes on the original project which , although Harmony can do it , is an enormous project?

Updates sorted like string

Hello, there is small issue in the updates list - they are sorted as string so for example v96 is 'greater' than v112, it is somewhat hard to find the latest.
Also autoadding update to download it adds the v96 not the real newest.

Wii U USB Helper Go!

Hi! thanks for maintaining this nice piece of software. By now I'm not having a pc near me so my question is: is there a patch or a setting to update the android apk to work again? or we just have to wait for those title key sites to be online? Thanks

Not all games appearing?

I am not sure if this is related to this or not. But once I was able to use this to get usbhelper running again, I wanted to download Just dance 2019.

To my surprise, the game was not there? Even though its on the title key site,

So is this issue has to do with the patching process that the launcher does? or is there something wrong with the program itself? Or am I missing something?

Adding 3ds game to download throws an exeption

I am downloading wiiu games, while it is downloading I have added an 3ds game to queue and this message is shown (and downloading stops with popup that my games are ready):

wartość jitDebugging ustawioną w sekcji system.windows.forms.
Aplikacja musi być również skompilowana z włączonym
debugowaniem.

Na przykład:

Gdy debugowanie JIT jest włączone, wszystkie nieobsługiwane wyjątki

locale not configurable?

I have a dutch/Belgian win10 system (my kids use this PC too), And I usualle configure my apps to run in English.
I can't find any language setting for Wii U USB Helper, Or the Launcher. Is this intentional? It fetches the system locale, and applies that, withouth user input/choice.

*edit, I currently deleted all locale files except en-US, and that's working.
might want to add a configuration flag somewhere though...
