flarum.github.io's Issues

Language switcher

I'm at the stage of completion of the translation, you can add the language switcher?

License?!

What's the license for flarum.github.io template, can I fork it and use in production?

How do `/docs` can be accessed?

There is no /docs directory in flarum.github.io repository, what is the method that makes https://flarum.org/docs/ exists? Don't docs repository need to be compiled?

Replace Source Sans Pro with Roboto

One thing that has always bothered me about flarum.org is how much of a pain it is to read the text (especially on windows). That's why I propose to use Roboto instead of Source Sans Pro.

Serialization error when sending email

I'm on a VPS with PHP Version 5.6.22-0+deb8u1

I put the right SMTP settings but when Flarum tries to send an email, I get this in my log file:

[07-Oct-2016 13:26:57 UTC] PHP Notice: Serialization of closure failed: You cannot serialize or unserialize PDO instances in .../htdocs/vendor/jeremeamia/SuperClosure/src/SerializableClosure.php on line 117
[07-Oct-2016 13:26:57 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function push() on null in .../htdocs/vendor/illuminate/mail/Mailer.php on line 195

Does this come from a hosting restriction?

Otherwise everything works as it should.

Thanks.

Wrong GitHub repo link (?)

Hi, I'm unsure wether the link to the GitHub repo provided on the webiste is correct. As far as I saw, the 'core' repo looks like the main source code of the Flarum app, but the link points to this weird unactive repository...

So I was wondering if I just misunderstood something - in this case you'd better make all this more clear and obvious for the newcomer to the project like me 😉 - or if there really is an error on the website.

Add documentation for mail configuration

Loving Flarum, it's a nice lightweight alternative to Discourse!

However, I'm setting up the mail server configuration and noticed that there could be some documentation regarding the fields:

  • Driver - what is this referring to? A PHP specific thing? The default value is simply mail so I left it at that, not sure what else could go here
  • Host and Port - these are pretty self explanitory so probably nothing necessary here
  • Encryption - it's a free text field, not really sure what to write here, TLS? SSL/TLS? TLS/SSL? true? Yes please?

(a "send test email" button would also be fantastic to ensure the settings are correct but that's more of a development thing than a docs thing so I'll head over the main repo for that one!)
