flatpack update not working

[Question] Can I upgrade this with "flatpak update"?

Hi, just a question:

In Flathub the latest version is 1.0.0 (released a year ago), but the manifest file here gets updates often.

Can flatpak update update this package? Or does the package update itself?

[Gnome 42] Render artifacts at bottom of main window

Description

The strawberry main window renders a few extra lines at the bottom which seem to show a past framebuffer.

The issue is reproduciable on a fresh installation of Silverblue 36 with no theme applied (default Adwaita theme) on latest strawberry release on flathub.

Tested on mutter-42.0-5.fc36.x86_64 (Wayland), org.freedesktop.Platform.GL.default 21.3.8, AMD Ryzen 3500U (Vega iGPU).

Dragging a track to the queue area causes a segmentation fault (flatpak only)

How to reproduce:

1. Add a track to the playlist.
2. Open the queue tab.
3. Drag the track from the playlist to the queue area.
4. The app crashes.

Since this doesn't happen with the deb version, I thought it was probably a problem with the flatpak package, so I decided to open the issue here.

When it crashes while running it from the terminal, it prints the message:

/app/bin/start-strawberry: line 3:     3 Segmentation fault      (core dumped) /app/bin/strawberry "$@"

mpris:artUrl=/tmp/strawberry-cover-XXXXXX.jpg is not created

When strawberry is running, you should be able to get the thumbnail exposed to mpris with:

❯ qdbus org.mpris.MediaPlayer2.strawberry /org/mpris/MediaPlayer2 Metadata
mpris:artUrl: file:///tmp/strawberry-cover-fdnDwu.jpg

The user was not able to find the thumbnail file in /tmp/.

Notes: Strawberry seems to be using QDir::tempPath() for the temp dir.

No audio CD support?

Libcdio was compiled to disable CD access? A music player intentionally unable to play CDs?!

KDE 6.2 runtime breaks qgnomeplatform themeing

5.15-21.08 introduced qgnomeplatform themeing last month which worked beautifully on Strawberry. Yesterdays update does no longer support/breaks it. The app is now shown in normal breeze light theme, on a Gnome system with Dark (Yaru) theme.

Removed flatpak; installed apt package from jonaski repository; cd read works.

GNOME 40 runtime EOL

When updating my flatpaks via flatpak update, I encountered the following:

Gnome-Software - Search doesn't work for "strawberry" - "strawberr" works

Gnome Software 41.4 with Flathub enabled

If you search Gnome-Software for "strawberry" the music player isn't shown
If you search for anything "strawberr" or less letters then it does work

I posted an issue on the Gnome-Software git page, but I don't know where the problem is from
