Pencil is an in-development Material Design Minecraft launcher based on Flutter.

Current Features

• Material Design looks really good
• Microsoft authentication
• Isolated profiles
• Launches the vanilla, Fabric and Quilt client
  • Forge support has been postponed considering its current instability. For details, see What is happening?. Forge support will be implemented after NeoForge is released.
• Mod management with Modrinth
  • Due to the closed nature of the CurseForge API, it's difficult to provide support for CurseForge.

Development

Pencil is built against the stable version of Flutter, and can be built on Linux, Windows and macOS. To get started, clone the repository and download the required fonts in fonts/. After that, you can run:

flutter pub get
flutter build <system>
