mjpeg-streamer-universal-windows-app's Issues

Force close by system when running more than once instance

I wish to stream multiple cameras to virtual monitors in VR, as demoed here:
Streaming multiple cameras in VR

When opening more than one instance, the system force closes the APP. I presume this is connected to ExtendedExecutionForeground and by extension this issue as well #6 report by @noahpodgurski
I have never programmed with UWP, so I don't really know what I'm doing here to work around.
Alternatively, allow us to stream more than one WebCam.

Crash if camera removed

When a camera is used with the app, the app is closed, webcam removed, then reopened, the app crashes.
The debugger reveals the app trying to use the WebCam from the last session and failing to do so.

What to replace <remotehost> with when connecting to stream

I'm trying to figure out how to connect to the stream via Chrome, but I cannot seem to get the link working. I know to put in "http://:8000/stream.mjpeg", but I can't seem to replace correctly. I've tried the device name, IpV4, and IpV6, but the IPs don't connect to a site and device name just shows nothing.

Will I need to turn off preview or not have (what I assume to be) the stream button green, or even reduce quality and framerate? I'm really lost with how to get this working. I am using the latest version on Windows 10.

Change ip for outgoing stream/web traffic

I'm wanting my stream to go out to my VPN (10.8.0.10) but currently it's not happening. I suspect it's because traffic is only going out over my WIFI interface (192.168.0.150) ? It might also be an issue with the VPN forwarding rules but I wanted to verify with you first.
