Inner Fire stacks dissipates regardless of absorb effect or not

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Apply Inner Fire
2. Apply Power Word: Shield
3. Melee attacks still removes stacks of Inner Fire, through absorbs

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected that the stacks should not be removed while under any and all absorb 
effects. It is still being removed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
