can't get fastbootd working on a145R

Hello,
I just flashed your twrp build on my a145r. Everything is working perfectly, except the fastboot function. While on twrp's fastboot mode, I can enable adb and get my pc to succesfully recognize it, but fastboot just seems to make my device undiscoverable. Tested with fastboot commands on windows, macos and linux. Am I doing something wrong? Any help is reallyy appreciated!
edit: I have also flashed your custom ksu kernel.
