Do you have products that use the Intl.js polyfill version with date or timezone formatting -- and if so, how do you get around this issue?
Most teams are opting for relative time formatting of dates for both product reasons, and general technical ones around time zones being a mess in JavaScript/browsers.
Also, is there a newsgroup or IRC something where I could ask questions like this instead of polluting the github issue tracker?
We don't have anything like that setup, but seems like it would be a good idea to do that after the holidays.

to add to that, the date format issues in the polyfill are in deed a problem for us. we need a brave soul to work on the polyfill and fix it since @andyearnshaw does not have time these days, unfortunately @ericf, @drewfish and myself are not going to be around for the holidays, but we can probably figure something out in January.

Yeah sorry guys, I don't really get any time for personal projects these days. It would be great if someone wanted to contribute, but until then it will just have to wait until I can make time 😞.

Is there any updates to fix the issue for timezone on polyfill @andyearnshaw ? I'm facing the issue on my app running on Safari browser.

@Tin-Nguyen we haven't look at the timezone feature just yet. You can follow up the progress here: andyearnshaw/Intl.js#19

Thanks @caridy , I did with moment-timezone

@caridy has done work to improve the Intl.js polyfill recently. Still no timezone support, but it should be easier to add, and the discussion to add it should take place on its repo.
