Summize

Summize is an open-source tool that utilizes OpenAI GPT-4 to simplify reading by transforming lengthy articles into clear and concise summaries. This project is developed in React and Vite, using Redux for API consumption. You can check out the deployed application at https://resumedocs.netlify.app/.

This project was created as part of the JsMastery course.

Usage

Prerequisites

Make sure you have Node.js and npm installed in your development environment.

Installation

1. Clone the Summize repository from GitHub.

git clone https://github.com/fosware/ai_summarize.git

2. Navigate to the project directory.

cd ai_summarize

3. Install the project dependencies.

npm install

4. Start the development server.

npm run dev

5. The application will be accessible at http://localhost:5173.

Basic Usage

1. Open the Summize application in your web browser.

2. Enter the URL of the article you want to summarize.

3. Click the "Summarize" button to generate a summary of the article.

Advanced Options

You can customize the length of the summary by adjusting the settings in the application.
