Required Fields

Fields that are marked as "required": true in the config file are not always required when using the app.

Persistent Component - Causing Problems

When uploading a custom json configuration, one component from the original configuration persists, but does not work, and when interacted with, it resets the configuration.

The persistent component is "upper Cube/Cone Missed" which is the second component in the auto section.

This component does not exists in our custom configuration, but is showing up on the webpage, and when we click on it, suddenly the configuration resets, but the component does not work.

Disabling highlight of text/content

Starting position qr data initially undefined

If I don't change selection, leaving the "starting position" at it's default "left" field appears to result in an "undefined" data field when scanning the generated QR code.

Changing the selection to a different option fixes it. To choose left, I needed to change from the initial selection upon start up (left) to something else (middle) then back to left.

Provide a way to make text entry fields larger, which will make it easier for scouts to use them for notes/comments

Add a way to send links to a pre-populated config

It would make setup much easier to have a way to link QR Scout with a particular config already loaded. One possible way could be URL params to point a file in a github repo

Reset Config Button

A way to toggle the ability to reset config or secondary check resetting the config would be helpful. This would be used to prevent accidental resetting of the QR Scout configuration.

Feature Request: Match Schedule Upload and team number auto populate

We discussed this offline but wanted to document it somewhere.

• Add a match schedule upload function that takes in a CSV file of an event's match schedule.
• Allow a field to be tagged for match number
• Allow a field to be tagged for driver station
• allow a field to be tagged for team number

When the match number or driver station changes, the team number is auto-populated from the uploaded match schedule.

This would cut down on the common problem of people scouting the wrong team number since it would be populated for them.

way to add images from config file?

like in https://qr-scout.vercel.app the old version there is a spot where you can add images but I can't find a config file for that version
is there a way to add images in the to do that in the current version with the "image" type and what are some of the parameters to add the image ei: can I can I add my own image from a URL?

"min" and "max" properties do not apply to text fields.

The default config contains the following properties for the field labeled "Comments";

"min": 0,
"max": 50,

These properties appear to have no effect on the contents of the text box.

Configurable QR Code and Header Delimiter

Data in the QR code and Column Headers are tab delimited.
Can we get a configuration setting in the JSON for the delimiter to use for those two features?
I would use that to send the output to a CSV file initially as text file file or use a pipe delimiter for other purposes.

Notes in Trap Counts Below Zero

The Notes in Trap field is able to go below zero. This is not an issue for any other counter fields.

If we really want to go for broke on this one, maybe limit the field to being a maximum of 3 notes as well?

Provide a way to automatically increment a number field on commit, which would be really helpful for ensuring match numbers are entered correctly
