I use Composer to require the Yahnis plugin update checker. Would be nice to use the same work flow to include this package as well. Thank you!

Plugin is not giving any updates

Hi there,
I am heaving an issue in executing the plugin functionality. I am unable to set it to work for some reason.

I have copied the necessary lib folder in my themes root folder. Also as instructed i haved edited the functions.php with necessary code.
Further more i have uploaded the package and reads the version correctly but i am still not getting update notification on my other web setups whom are using this theme.

Now I would like to ask is it because.. I am using a sub-domain or have i misunderstood theme prefix. Currently my theme folder name is zb_restate

Can activation be triggered ?

Hi anybody,

nice plugin!

I have an issue here.. I deliver my plugin with a config file which is filled with values on activation. Using package-updater, the config will be overwritten with default values until the webmaster goes to 'Settings' and hits 'save'.

Is it possible to trigger activation when updating ?

404 error for /wppus-update-api

I am getting a 404 for /wppus-update-api
more specifically,
https://url/wppus-update-api/?action=get_metadata....

I have a fresh WP install with only the WP Plugin Update Server plugin installed.
WP 5.0.3
Package is hosted in BitBucket private repository.

Is there something I am missing?

Extra info:
RE: BitBucket--I set up the consumer as the instructions said. It pulled the "prime" fine, but the WP list of packages still shows that first version even though the download link gets a newer version. Wondering if these issues may be related.

Does the theme update code only run if the theme is active?

I've got a parent theme hooked up to a wordpress installation running wp-plugin-update-server, the new versions are correctly reflected in wp-plugin-update-server, but our site with the parent theme installed doesn't have any updates available.

Is this because we are using a parent theme, and since it isn't actually active, the code to update the theme never runs?
