Generate SQLite database from JSON

While storing database in JSON is good for versioning, it is that good for use as in-app database. SQLite should bring better performance.

New design

I personally volunteer to improve the design of your periodic table by choosing another colour layout, fonts, etc. I feel competent for this task because Trojsten n. o. have entrusted me with such issues for some time (if you want to see some of my works, visit fks.sk or just find someone wearing Physics Naboj T-shirt) and I consider myself aesthetically talented.

Stop using private resources from support libraries

Private resources should not be referenced; the may not be present everywhere, and even where they are they may disappear without notice.

App crash

This is not a serious issue at all. When I press the search button before the app has finished to load all elements, it crashes.
Just a bit frustrating, because you have to re-open the application and wait again.

Improve performance of PeriodicTableView

[Feature] Hide properties of atoms

Great app guys. Really useful for my chemistry course.

I have a feature request. I need to know only some of the proprieties of elements.
For example I never use physical information but I need to find quickly the oxidation numbers.
It would be possible to choose which properties to show?

Fix shared element transition after orientation change

This has been buggy since 54248fa most likely due to CoordinatorLayout in MainActivity.

Current status, fdroid release

Hey @lubo,

I wanted to ask what's the current status of the project. The last release has been a while but there are 308 commits since v1.1.1.

Right now this app is only available in the f-droid archive (see here for more info: https://forum.f-droid.org/t/many-old-unmaintained-apps-have-been-archived/670)

The app can be rebuild by fdroid but this a manual process, alternatively if you are planning a new release in the near future (or consider master stable eanough for at least an alpha/beta release) we could instead add this new version to fdroid.
