Fluestr

Fluestr is a Twitter like client application for the Nostr protocol.

Develop

Fluestr is build using the Flutter-Framework and is currently only tested with Android phones. It should work on iOS without modification.

Installation

• Install flutter for your OS: Flutter Docs
• Fork/clone this repository: git clone [email protected]:fusion44/fluestr.git
• execute flutter run in the root Fluestr folder (make sure you have a phone connected or an emulator running)
• To run on Linux or in the Chrome Browser use the Makefile

Fix URL handling in web version

Currently most screens can't be accessed directly by opening a URL path in the browser.

Add contacts via scanning of a qr code

Implement some kind of smooth scrolling on desktop platforms

Flutter currently doesn't provide smooth scrolling on desktop platforms but it is being worked on.

Add an onboarding screen with a selection of default relays

Add send new text event UI

Opening the thread view replaces the default REQ

The default REQ to the relays is replaced by a REQ to the thread.
Revert when user has finished viewing the thread or use another channel to fetch the thread.

Implement message reply handling

Send current filter to the relay when establishing a new connection

Multiple problems with relay list

• fix list reoder issue when activating / deactivating relays
• fix horizontal widget width to big to fit on a phone screen. Scrolling is sometimes necessary.

Event verification always fails

Not sure why that is.

The signature process is OK and yields same results as go-nostr library but verification always fails. Doesn't matter whether the note is a new outgoing or an incoming text note.

For clarification, the random component was temporarily made static to compare the dart and go signatures correctly.

Implement error handling if a relay connection can't be established

Opening a thread only shows part of the replies on first open

Scroll code block horizontally instead of adding linebreaks

This is currently blocked by upstream. Need to investigate a solution.

Feed page shows an infinite loading screen when not following anyone

Implement a screen to tell the user to follow a contact.

Improvements to Relay handler screen

• Replace https with wss when user tries to add a Relay URL beginning with https:// instead of showing an error
• Add relays via qr code scanning
