More PaperDoll Options

a) an option to show paperdoll when attacking
b) an option to show paperdoll when walking
c) an option to show paperdoll when jumping
d) an option to show paperdoll when going prone (with GoProne mod)
e) an option to show paperdoll when carrying an item (with Carry On mod)
f) an option to show paperdoll for anything you do but in first person
g) an option to show paperdoll always no matter

also it would be great if paperdoll could show the entity that the player is riding in itself. like horses, pigs, boats, and even slabs and stairs they're sitting on (with Sit mod)

[1.12.2] Conflict with "Advent of Ascension". Game Crash when viewing some of AoA's Tooltips when held.

First encountered with AoA's Hot Shot Gun where if you wield the item the game will crash the moment the tooltip appears.

AoA has quite a number of Weapons & Items so it's going to be tough to mark down whichever items that causes a crash. So far... it's the Hot Shot, Proton, Water-Balloon Bomber, Skeletal Bow, perhaps more as I go through the items.

I can get around this if I disable the "Held Items Tooltip" in Console HUD's config where the game won't crash.

The Console HUD config is at it's default setting while testing.

EDIT
There's another way to get around the crash it seems by setting the Rows to 1 which should only show the item name when held. Before it was set to 4.

Why is it when ever I use this mod with 1.12.2 the entire HUD disappears? Idk if it is a glitch or not but I would really appreciate if the the 1.12.2 mod worked. Thanks.

[Suggestion] Localizable tips

Tips shown while loading levels appears to be fixed by just a single tips.json, so a feature is expected to allow players, especially modpack makers to create jsons like tips_ru_ru.json or tips_es_es.json, stuff like that, alongside with the default tips.json, and it would show tips in corresponding jsons based on currently selected languages.

[1.12.2] Held Item Tooltips broken?

Unless it's just me... I don't see the Tooltip appearing when selecting items. Tried with Enchanted Items, Shulker Boxes, and still... no Tooltip shows.

Going back to 'ConsoleHUD-v1.2-1.12.2'... the Tooltip appears as normal.

[Suggestion] Custom clientside saving icon from local files

Basically what it says on the tin. Should someone not like the default saving icon included, it should be possible to swap it out for anything else, bigger, smaller, less intrusive, extremely attention-grabbing, etc. depending on preference and artistic merit of selected image.

HUD Delay

The HUD takes a bit too long to pop back after closing a Container or Pausing and Resuming the Game.

Incompatability with Optifine's fast render option

With the "Fast Render" setting enabled on Optifine, the game loads and the HUD disappears. Opening player inventory or hitting escape doesn't display their respective GUIs (they still function though). Disabling fast render stops this, and Optifine doesn't seem to have any other issues.

Loading screen progress bar theme/style

I have tested the mod and another similar mod "Bedrocklfy" for fabric, and I noticed that the style of progress bar and overall theme of loading screen not really matching the "Bedrock" theme, I personally prefer the fabric mod as it fits the Bedrock theme more, but I prefer playing on forge version. Is this intended or can it be enhanced/fixed?

Close button has a slot even when disabled

When the close button is disabled in the config, the space where it would be still takes up space on the menu. This can cause some visual problems, with Quark's sort button and Charm's inventory crafting table button overlapping each other, for example.

The game crashes and exits when dying in a world

I don't understand crash reports but from the latest.log I suspected that it might be from Console Experience. If not, please guide me in the right direction to report this issue to the respective developers of the troubling mod. Here are some useful files:

My specs:

  • Minecraft 1.14.4
  • Forge 28.1.70
  • OptiFine HD U F4
  • ConsoleExperience-v1.5b3-1.14.4

Steps to reproduce:

  1. open the game
  2. create a new world
  3. die
  4. game crashes with exit code of -1 (0xffffffff) before allowing you to choose 'respawn'
  5. now launch the game again and select 'respawn' to continue playing

Low framerate 3d models

The models for the paper doll and rotating chest icon for saving appear to be running at a noticeably lower framerate than the game normally does. Parts of the paper doll appear to move smoothly, like it rotating, but arm and leg movement are choppy. For reference, my client is at a locked 60fps.

it seems as though something has offset the entire options screen, aswell as the inventory screen, it its none of my other mods, because I've played with them all before adding this to the list. (Note: theres only 2 mods, and they're client side)

Loading Screen Not working in 1.12.2?

I don't know if these features were added in the 1.16 and the other new versions but I can't get the loading screen and other GUI stuff to work.

I would love it if quark's colored name feature could show up on the hotbar! Here is a gif of what currently happens:

Hello!

When I've been playing the latest version of your mod I noticed that whenever I would be in the loading screen added by this mod, it would just say "missingno" where the loading screen tip should be, like so:

After looking in the config files I found the tips.json file to configure the loading screen tips and noticed it was completely empty.

I've edited plenty of config files in the past to tweak modpacks to my liking but I have no idea how to write one from scratch.

Would you be able to add in some example tips to this file? It would allow me and others who don't know how to write these files from scratch to add our own tips in and get an idea of the format of how the tips should be written to work properly. (Note: Every other config file this mod generated has generated properly, it's just tips.json that is having this issue).

[Suggestion] Change to Default Effect Timer Color

When using mods such as Farmer's Delight where effects are gained from consuming various food, the following occurs:

While this isn't game-breaking, the timer is almost unreadable. Perhaps a color change to something more readable from a distance?

[Suggestion] More control over held tooltip contents

As it stands, the durability display can be turned on/off, and modded content can be denied, as well as per-item changes, etc. with a max number of lines.

I suggest some more configurability to this:
-Enable/Disable enchantments on tooltip [Boolean]
-Max number of lines for enchantments [Integer]
-Modes: [String]
--Enchants listed in order of ID/application "BASIC"
--Enchants listed in order of strength "STRENGTH"

-Enable/Disable potion info on tooltip [Boolean]
-Max number of lines for potion info
-Display potion time [Boolean]
-Display potion strength [Boolean]

(and similar things to the above for other such repeatable information)

-String Blacklist: If string is found in tooltip, line does not display on any item.
eg. "Curse of", will omit any tooltip (in this case, likely any vanilla Curse Enchantments) that contains the text "Curse of" [Curse of Binding, etc.]
-Exceptions: List of item IDs that have blacklisted text shown anyway.

-Whitelist: If string is found in tooltip, line displays on the item even if otherwise omitted.
-Exceptions: List of item IDs that have whitelisted text not shown anyway.

Console Hud 1.14.3

Seems like the Mod won't render anything for me in my 1.14.3 modpack. Inventory and any buttons don't render. I have to click blindly to leave the game. I think it might be some incompatibility between Console Hud and Cealus API (Since that's the only mod that I can think of in my pack that would interfere).

One minor but big thing is missing in this mod...

Context: This is just a mere suggestion, no bugs here.
(had no place to write this tbh)

If possible, I'd love to see these animations introduced into console experience!

Everyone who played back when 4J Studios was around, remembers that MC
