nrsc5's Issues

On SDRplay RSPdx, Antenna selection option doesn't select right port

Hi,

I really appreciate your fork of nrsc5 and its SDRplay support since I don't own any of the RTL dongles. I use the windows 64-bit build with my RSPdx which has 3 separate antenna input options. But when I use the -A flag to specify A, B, or C, nrsc5 does not tune the corresponding port. I can't be sure, but via experimentation, I feel like selecting antenna B actually tunes Antenna C, while selecting antenna C actually tunes Antenna B. Weirdly Antenna A does seem to correctly map to the real Antenna A port. Perhaps SDRplay changed their API definitions in their recent releases? I'm running API version 3.14 at the moment.

Also, I wanted to ask if you plan to merge any of the recent updates to the original nrsc5 into your SDRplay builds? Thanks again for your work on this project!

Gain doesn't work right.

I have an Ubuntu box with A SDRPlay RSP1A. I tried listening to a local station today.
$ nrsc5 103.5 0
But the signal was too weak and the audio kept messing up. Next I tried the gain option.
$ nrsc5 -g 10 103.5 0
LNA state: 10
IF gain reduction: 50
IF AGC: 2

Nothing happens. It just sits there. I tried again with -g 20 then 30 and finally 40, and got nothing. On a raspberry pi I have an RTL sdr and the gain option works normally there. Is this a bug or am I missing something?
thanks

Can't seem to select antenna port with RSPdx

Hi, I really really appreciate your port of this great tool to SDRplay platform and it works great with my RSP1a. I'm running under an ubuntu-based linux distro and have the latest SDRplay API 3.x installed. I recently bought an RSPdx that has 3 antenna inputs. I see in command line arguments there is a flag for '-A antenna' which I assume is to allow me to choose which connection to tune with. However no combination of parameters allows me to select one. I have tried numbers 0-3 with the -A flag as well as characters A,B,C however nrsc5 still says "antenna: 0" and it won't tune to the right port. Am I missing something? What is the appropriate syntax to select antenna port and is it even compatible with the RSPdx? Thanks again for your work on this project!

-H option doesn't work

The original nrsc5 has a -H option to connect to another machine using rtl_tcp. On my raspberry pi I typed nrsc 5 and got this as one of the options. -H rtltcp-host.

I set up rtl_tcp on the raspberry pi then tried to connect to it with my ubuntu box, but I get an error message.

~$ nrsc5 -H 192.168.1.4 91.9 0
nrsc5: invalid option -- 'H'
Usage: nrsc5 [-v] [-q] [--am] [-l log-level] [-d device-serial-number] [-p ppm-error] [-g gainRF.gainIF] [-w iq-output] [-o wav-output] [-A antenna] [--dump-hdc hdc-output] [--dump-aas-files directory] frequency program
Please fix. Thank you.

Password for binaries

Both nrsc5-windows32.zip and nrsc5-windows-64.zip are password protected ZIPs?

Can I get the password.

And why the ZIPs are password protected?
