firekey's Issues

How do I remove keys that I no longer want

I've added a key with incorrect private key. How do I edit it or remove it please?

I can't find any controls on the website except Add a new key.

I'm using Firefox and I think the data is being stored in my profile but I don't know exactly where or how.

auto-detect base32 vs hex

Most of the time, we can probably detect if this is a hex or base32 key. A single character outside the 0-9a-f range makes it a candidate for base32.

Firekey keeps refreshing even when hidden

While doing battery-life analysis on my Firefox OS phone I noticed that Firekey kept updating its display even when it's hidden, slowly draining the battery. I've got a WIP patch that fixes this by disabling refresh as long as the app/page is hidden.

packaged version has amnesia

(Hope this is the correct repo.) The packaged version of Firekey on marketplace.firefox.com will accept a new account and start showing codes, but when you re-launch the app the UI just shows the Firekey banner at the top. Account is gone, and even the "+" button to add new accounts is gone. There are no usable controls at all, the only thing you can do is close the app.

SHA1 secret codes

Hello,

Is there a possibility to add a SHA1 secret code?
Is it an hex or base 32 code?
It contains 16 characters.

Does not work offline

If I start the application without an internet connection I get a "Firekey requires an Internet connection."

QR code scanner

This is obviously the most convenient way to get a new code in there. Also, somewhat complex.

firekey.org not loading in Firefox Nightly

STR:

  1. Run the latest Nightly on Linux
  2. Load firekey.org

Expected results:
The page loads and shows your codes.

Actual results:
The page header loads, but the contents never load.
The tab's icon is a never-ending spinner.

Works fine with Firefox Beta on the same system.

Firekey stopped working

STR:
Load https://firekey.org/ with some keys previously added

Expected results:
Codes are displayed.

Actual results:
The page is blank.
Console shows two errors:
UnknownError localforage.js:1946:21
UnknownError localforage.js:815:26

Too easy to delete account

At least on a flame running FxOS 2.1 -- if you "long press" to display the delete button, at a location where the button will appear, the "button up" from the long press is also considered the "button up" from the delete button. Poof! Account deleted on one action.

I don't get the same behavior in the hosted webapp, so this may be unique to FxOS. (Although, on Android KK, I couldn't get any delete button to appear.)

Emberify

This is straight-up JS right now, but a better MVC separation would do the app a favor. Let's do it. // cc @tofumatt
