element-based-galerkin-methods's Issues

Is it possible to change the initial value of q0 to a random value?

Hello professor,

For code in project 3, the initial value of q0 is set to the exact solution. I have question about this since I did not figure out that the analytical solution is f(x,t)=f(x-ut). Now I understand why the initial value is set to the exact solution.
The book is really good. Thank you for your time. Please close this issue. Sorry for this.
Sincerely,
Youtong
